Can. I just get these so I can rate them. Gold in color but it is very nasty.

23.5oz can from Center Market. Candy aroma, koolaid powder. Taste is super sweet and sugary, hard candy, sour gummies, orange koolaid. Then comes the ABV like a sledgehammer. While you're still puckering, a shot of vodka hits the throat. Not for the meek...

It is not exactly a good sign when you are locating beers to rate at a truck stop. That is how this 23.5 oz, 14% abv elixir called Gold came to be in my hand right now. But I did get a nice, correctly sized paper bag along with it. Four Loko malt liquors can be short of average at best and god-awful at worst. Let us find out. The smell is kool aid and bubble gum, I can see the sugar overload approaching. And the taste is berry something with some spoonfuls of sugar stirred in. Fortunately this offering manages to mostly avoid the paint thinner/astringent effect I associate with Four Loko. One of their better brews, you understand where I am coming from, all is relative.

Big Can shared at Cotteridge Convention 23/06/18. Many thanks! A clear gold coloured pour with no head. Dull. Aroma is sweet, red bull, medicinal, energy drink. Flavour is composed of sweet, plums, orange, red bull tang. Palate is sticky, moderate carbonation, spiycnotes. Solid boost.

Big can shared at Cotteridge Convention 2018 - cheers all! Pours clear gold with a faint head on top. The nose his all energy drink - nothing else. Super sweet, more Red Bull, not much else really, just sugary, artificial energy drink. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Sugary finish, yet more energy drink, some medicinal notes, background boozy warmth. Uh, OK I guess.

Can at Cotteridge get together. Alcoholic energy drink, with a weird aftertaste. Sickly chemical aroma. Cloudy gold. Thin. Watery with a chalky Rennies mouthfeel. Flat carbonation but presumably didn't start like that. Abrupt finish. Alright. Could easily not realise it's anything other than a no alcohol energy drink.

Another offering from Leighton at the 23rd June 2018 Cotteridge gathering, a huge can of tramp juice this time. I felt like lying down on a park bench and covering myself in news papers after my portion of this disgustingly sweet monster. Pale body, wispy head, hang over guaranteed, it's just an alcoholic fruit juice with extra sugar/sweetener added. Warm it would have been vomit inducing.

Massive Can shared during Cott Wines Convention; clear dark amber pour with zero head, aroma can only be described as sweet with artificial fruits, taste is alcoholic red bull, ABV well hidden, could drink a few of these and have the energy to crawl home.

Can split at Cotteridge Convention IV, many thanks, 23/06/18. Clear golden amber with an off white covering. Nose is sweet as ... parma violets, sugar rush, grains. Taste comprises sticky sweet licks, lucozade, aspartamic notes, corn on the cob dipped in sugar. Medium plus body, fine carbonation, sweet boosty close. Too sweet for my licker likings ... drinks well under 14% though.
