→ Interessant! 9+11+10+9

Dark ruby, lasting full head, roasted malt and grain, lots of sweets, some spices, nice one.

Getreidiger, minimal malziger Geruch. Test vom 17.3.2007, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 8,8,9,8,10,8 - 8,25

Bottle: Clear, deep amber coloured, very small foamy layer; sweetish coffeeish and roasty nose; light to moderate sweet-bitter flavour, light bodied and soft; slightly lingering sweetish-coffeeish and toasty-caramelly finish. All in all a pleasant, easy-drinking Schwarzbier, which reminds You of a Dunkel....

(bottle, 33cl) Clear, dark brown colour with a medium-sized, slightly tanned foamy head. Slightly sweet and mildly roasted malty aroma with notes of caramel, liquorice and traces of herbal and subtle fruity hops. Light to moderately bitter flavour, rather light bodied with a soft carbonation. Roasty and slightly leafy malty taste with light burnt notes, dark bread, liquorice and herbal accents; dry and moderately roasty bitter finish and a tinge of herbal hops. Decent but not too exciting. 31.XII.09

Draught. Clear brown colour. Roasted flavour, hint of malt. Gets a bit sour after a while.

(Bottle 33 cl) Pours a clear, dark amber with a small, off-white head. Nose of roasted malt and rye bread. Medium body with loads of roasted malt and some lightly sweet caramel. Touch of hops in the finish. Comes out more as a Dunkel than a Schwarzbier. 290106

An amber beer with a thin light brown head. The aroma is mostly of straw, but also with impressions of malt and herbs. The flavor is sweet again with straw being most dominant, leading to a dry end. The body is thin.

Bottle. Spicy malt and moderate hops aroma. Dark reddish brown color with little head. Mild chocolate and toffee malt flavor - slightly sweet but very little character or body. Pleasant taste but very light.

Herbal bitterhop nose. Chestnut, lowish head. Weak malt body - too much napkin. Herbal hops on cardboard and much too much water all way through.
