Brewed in collaboration with Restaurant Barr in Copenhagen. We used 01|24, our rye saison, as a base and pitched Brett yeast. We then added green, pink and Sichuan peppercorns. A complex, balanced and spicy dry saison.

50 cl bottle @ Ruoholahti Beer Festival 2018. Bottled 18.01.2018, BBE 18.01.2021
Aroma has bretta vibes, grapefruit and mild milky tones. Flavour has bretta notes, grapefruit, citrus and mild milky notes. Also some bush leaves. A good bretta-saison, the pepper is barely noticeable here though. It comes more evident after some sips.

Sampled draft @ TCBW 2018. Golden, uneven white head. Nose is mineral funk, cedar, cellar, brett, sweet lime, white wine, unique. Taste is flatter, some brett, mineral, S > T but still good. Mineral, brett body, didn’t really pick up on the pepper.
