A bone-dry IPA turned liquid gold.

Brut IPA is our latest deep dive into the ever more complex world of IPA. This bone-dry IPA features a light body matched only by its light bitterness. But don’t be fooled, this beer is exploding with juicy, citrus hop character in what is undoubtedly a fantastic voyage into unknown waters.

(Bottle) Golden amber colour, slightly hazy, with frothy, off-white head. Hoppy nose with notes of mango, pineapple, grapefruit, honey, white bread and a touch of rosemary. Hoppy taste with mango, pineapple, passion-fruit, grapefruit, grass, honey, white bread, herbs and a balanced citric bitterness in the finish. Medium body. A slight sweetness, but mainly dry. Tasty and well balanced brut IPA. Nice one.

On tap at Red Cow North Loop. Pours a near clear yellow gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has dry citrus with a bit of grass and a light grab backbone. Flavor has lots of dry citrus with a bright grass and a light grain backbone.

Light haze on this gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Light palate, mildly dry, decent fine minerally carbonation. Light malts, some mild caramel here but even that amount is a little too much for me in a Brut IPA. Crisp light pine, a touch of orange peel. Yes a little Brut champagne vibe here to. Light crispy semi dry finish. Not bad at all. Just less caramel please.

Bottled 330ml (Alko web)
Yellow colour, small white head. Aroma has flowery and farmhousey notes. Light-bodied. Fizzy. Some fruityness, dry Champagne-like mouthfeel. Spicey hops in the finish. This is quite good example of Brut IPA. Unfortunately it doesn't mean a good beer.
