Draught@TCBW2018. Deep brown, close to black colour with a creamy beige head. Aroma is roasted malts, some sweet toffeeish notes, mild liquorice and nutty notes. Flavour is liquorice, some nutty notes along with roast, coffee and some ashes as well. Alcohol does show up too, as the beer get a bit warmer.

medium brown color. Burnt raisins, rum and cherries very sweet nose. Medium full body, thick, chocolate milk, burnt raisin, plums, slight alcohol burn,
very rich, nice barrel character. Very big. Good

Bottle. Deep dark brown color. Soft roast, toffee and butterscotch in the aroma. Malty sweet flavor, full bodied. Toffee, vanillasugar, Slightly vinous. OK.

Bottle from Uba ja Humal. Dark barley wine, quite unusual style. Pours dark brown, some lightly beige foam on the top. Nose is sweetish, some toffee and sweet caramel candy, malty base with super light booze added. Soft and velvety texture also in taste, sweet, caramel and milk chocolate, some bitterness there as well. Finish has more roast character, light booze and bitter linger. Good as it is and I am thinking that flavours will be even more balanced and blended together after you keep it for a year or two.

Sampled draft @ TCBW 2018. Black, small mocha head. Nose is plastic mocha, cough syrup, candy, sugar. Too much black liquorice for me, too liquorice, bark, lacking carbonation, too much black liquorice.

Tap at TCBW. Pours very dark amber with beige head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel, booze. Flavor is sweet and bitter, caramel, malt, roast, some fruits, some booze. Finish is caramelly with some bitterness and booze. Overall: good. Bottle. Like it more. Bump to palate and overall.

Tap at TCBW, Tallinn. Colour is dak brown with small brownish head. Aromas and flavours: Chocolate, some coffee and roasted malts.
