A true classic never goes out of style.

This London porter keeps things simple; full bodied with rich toasty aromas and a dry finish. If this beer were the September Issue, malt would be the cover star. Layers of roasted notes weave together to give Fashion a strong, unfussy character.

Fashion lasts a moment, but style is for life.

A deep dark porter with a thin creamy brown head. In aroma, sweet fruity chocolate malt with dark fruits, light vanilla, pleasant. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity chocolate malt with dark fruits, licorice, nice roasted character, very nice and rich. On tap at The Experiment.

Oversized foamy tan head left a froth a near black still body. Malt, liquorice & nutty aroma. Medium bodied, lively over the tongue with a thicker cloying back. Malt, liquorice, some boozy barrel tastes & tangy sweeter hoppy finish. The carbonation in the can let's this down - otherwise a tremendous Porter.

Black beer, decent head though it fizzes down a little. Strong smell of toasted malt and a bit of chocolate. Flavour is very toasty with the malt too, with a little dark chocolate, some vanilla, a dash of hop. A fairly standard porter but nice and smooth and pretty tasty. Very drinkable.

Can picked up at Væskebalancen - Valby, and drunk at home (17/10/2021) - pours black with a beige head. A little bit of home hygge is this London Porter, traditional with lots of toasted and roasted malts, cocoa, dark caramel, ashy charred coffee roast, singed brown sugar, full body, dark lingering roasted finish. Lovely. --- Beer merged from original tick of Fashion on 26 Mar 2025 at 12:09 - Score: 8. Can sample at a tasting at Yoav's place. Black. Roast, coffee, chocolate, some nuts, a bit sweetish, bitterish note. Decent.

440ml can from Cotteridge Wines. Poured a clear dark brown, almost black colour, with a lasting frothy tan head. The aroma is roasty malt, light smoke, liqourice, light chocolate. The flavour is moderate sweet and liqourice bitter, with a dry, roasty, light sweet caramel, vanilla, light ash tray, charcoal palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. One of the best porters I’ve ever had. Nicely balanced.
