Pours a pitch black with a small head of tan foam, pretty good lacing.
I smell whiskey big cocoa nibs and chocolate, vanilla, coffee is almost unnoticeable to me in the smell.
Cocoa nibs, chocolate, whiskey, vanilla in that order, taste wise. Coffee is barely there but that's okay. It, the coffee, is mostly in the finish. Not much bitterness going on and, conversely, it is not overly sweet. Struck a nice balance here.
Close to if not full bodied. Perfect carbonation.
Superb offering and one that I will buy again.

4 ounce at the Denver tap room - they’re not kidding about the amount of chocolate here - intense cocoa throughout that compliments the boozy bourbon barrel character - light charred maltiness and smoke - not as sweet as some other variants despite the chocolate.

Bottle from ABV. Pours a very dark brown color with a small brown head. A big sweet chocolate, vanilla and light roast nose. Light whiskey, bittersweet chocolate cookies, some sweet vanilla bean. Light coffee. Very nice.
