Inspired by one of our favorite treats, Dragon’s Milk Reserve: Oatmeal Cookie is carefully aged with cinnamon, oats, brown sugar, raisins, and Madagascar vanilla extract. The familiar flavors of a freshly baked oatmeal cookie make an excellent pair with the rich, warm bourbon notes of our signature barrel-aged stout.

Black with a large foamy tan head that lingered. Toasty with cocoa, strong bourbon, oatmeal and dark fruit. Long finish. Moderately full bodied

Bottle (9/15/23) pour from The Beer Store, Salem. Opaque dark cola brown with cap of tan head with poor retention and light lacing. Aroma is initial strange pencil eraser but then components of oatmeal cookie as advertised. Taste is strong oatmeal cookie. Smooth, soft carbonation, finish as taste. Excellent oatmeal cookie flavor and enjoyable in its own right but loses the base stout and not much barrel so disappointing in that regard.

Another one from the sales bin @ Sterk, bottled 10/01/19 (US date). Pours a black body and a beige-brown head with a thin layer retention. Aroma's: truly oatmeal raisin cookie, cinnamon, sweetness. Retronasal there's cinnamon, raisin, chocolate, just light barrel, vanilla, sweetness. Flavour is above moderate sweet, cookies, chocolate, light roast. Medium bodied. Warming aclohol. Flavour lingers. A very nice treat.

Bottled 355ml. -from De Bierliefhebber. Black coloured, small to medium sized brownish head, chocolate, vanilla and light wood in the nose. Sweet toasted malt, milk chocolate, oat cookies and vanilla with mild touch of wood and spices in the finish. Quite nice and pleasant.

3 July 2020. At Bar Beenhouwer, Ghent. Cheers, Anke, Pieter, Meeki & Ama Deke! Hazy black with a lasting, thin, frothy, beige head. Intense aroma of soy milk, chocolate chip cookie, fried mushroom, raisin, candied date, creamy coffee, vanilla, leather. Taste has sweet malty base of chocolate, cream, cookie & vanilla, sugary lactose apparent in the back, spicy bitter touch of cinnamon with an earthy, mushroom-like umami edge. Quite an earthy hoppy finish, chocolate & biscuit lingering as well as warming cream liqueur alcohol, vaguely hinting at bourbon. Full body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Rich, tasty RIS, nice earthy touches, not really 'in your face' when it comes to the bourbon, leaving room for subtle vanilla.

Black, creamy bit of foam. Smells vanilla, cinnamon and cookie. Actually tastes properly like oatmeal cookies, whilst remaining beery. Cinnamon is light, raisins are there, vanilla. But also some roastyness, sweet malts. Lots of bourbon, alcoholic, thin
