Very hazy golden, peach and copper coloured body with a good two to three centimetre tall off-white head that fades quite quickly and leaves just a thin layer of off-white on top. Aroma of rich strawberries, bunches of lactose and caster sugar with some cream along with a good deal of traditional hops that show some grassy, floral and of course fruity notes, but the vanilla perhaps is the strongest - which is very noticeable throughout. Medium-bodied; Strong malt and grassy flavour at first that gives way immediately to the fruits with some tropical notes, but mainly a banana and strawberry balance with some cream and vanilla thrown in and ended up with a good hit of fructose and alcohol at the end. Aftertaste shows a light dose of traditional and grassy hops with some perfume and bitterness at the end, but this really is about the balance of fruits (strawberries and bananas) and the sugars coming off with lactose and a good deal of pure caster sugar notes as well, but all with a funky soured and tart bite at the end. Overall, a very nice and somehow well-managed and balanced end with a lot of flavours throughout, but a good hit of malt and hops of course, but the sweetness and tart notes make this complex and well-rounded. I sampled this sixteen ounce can, purchased from BeerTopia in Omaha, Nebraska on 23-January-2020 for US$4,49 sampled at my house here in Washington on 07-April-2020.

16 ounce can into tulip glass; canned on 8/26/2019, best before 8/26/2021. Pours very hazy/cloudy deep golden/amber/light orange color with a 1 finger fairly dense and fluffy white head with good retention, that reduces to a thin spotty lace cap that lingers. Light spotty lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big juicy/tart/tangy strawberry, banana, fruit skin/seed, lemon, lime, orange, red grapefruit, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, guava, blueberry, gooseberry, red/green apple, white grape/wine, citrus peel/zest, wood, peppercorn, pine, vanilla, cream, wheat, cracker, white bread dough, lightly toasted biscuit, light lacto funk, hay, straw, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of strawberry, banana, citrus/fruity/tropical hops, fruity/acidic yeast, lactose, vanilla, and pale/wheat malt notes; with big strength. Taste of big juicy/tart/tangy strawberry, banana, fruit skin/seed, lemon, lime, orange, red grapefruit, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, guava, blueberry, gooseberry, red/green apple, white grape/wine, citrus peel/zest, wood, peppercorn, pine, vanilla, cream, wheat, cracker, white bread dough, lightly toasted biscuit, light lacto funk, hay, straw, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness. Light-moderate fruity/lactic tartness, fruit tang; and pine, herbal, floral, woody, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of tart/tangy strawberry, banana, fruit skin/seed, lemon, lime, orange, red grapefruit, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, guava, blueberry, gooseberry, red/green apple, white grape/wine, citrus peel/zest, wood, peppercorn, pine, vanilla, cream, wheat, cracker, white bread dough, lightly toasted biscuit, light lacto funk, hay, straw, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Great complexity, robustness, and balance of strawberry, banana, citrus/fruity/tropical hops, fruity/acidic yeast, lactose, vanilla, and pale/wheat malt flavors; with a fantastic malt/bitter/tartness and tangy fruit balance; with no puckering/astringent flavors after the finish. Light-moderate increasing dryness from lingering bitter/tang/tartness and carbonation. Medium-plus carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/bready/grainy, fairly crisp/sticky/acidic/tangy/tannic, and lightly resinous mouthfeel that is fantastic. Zero warming alcohol for 6%. Overall this is an excellent sour milkshake IPA. All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of strawberry, banana, citrus/fruity/tropical hops, fruity/acidic yeast, lactose, vanilla, and pale/wheat malt flavors; very smooth and fairly crisp/refreshing to drink with the mellowly bitter/acidic/tangy/drying finish. Fantastic soft feel for the style, and mellowly lactic. Awesome Citra, Mosaic profile. Extremely juicy, vibrant, and fairly dank/earthy hops/fruit and Lacto complexity; with a great balanced lactose, and pale/wheat malt backbone. Minimal residual sweetness with crisp acidic/tangy dryness. A really enjoyable offering, and impressive style example as expected. Not overwhelming on any aspect.

Sampled at Snallygaster 2019. Poured a kind of hazy, dull peach-orange color with a small white head. Aroma was kind of funky, with some creamy vanilla notes. Smooth, sweet, easy to drink.

Can from Joe Canal's, 10/20/19.  Hazy yellowish color with a slightly pink hue to it.  Big, fruity sweetness, strawberry shines through, not getting much of the banana.  Lactose and vanilla come through plenty strong as well.  There's a slight tartness, but as far as the flavor profile goes, it's sweet above all else.  Tasty beer, and clearly made with some precision, but not something I could see drinking more than 1-2 of.  Still, a really nice one.   8/4/7/3/16
