Can from the lcbo. Cloudy orange pour, with a large white head. Aroma is creamscicle, vanilla frosting, pine resin, light citrus oils. Mouth feel is creamy, carb is soft. Finish is very floral, sharply, pithy bitterness, with a vanilla, sweet malty finish. It's not awful, but it's all over the place and odd.

Quarantine Beer #075 sampled at home on 04/23/2020. Cloudy straw color with a medium thick white head that recedes gradually to an outer ring. Stringy lace. Lemony and hoppy aroma with malt in the background. Medium body with flavors of citrusy hops, vanilla and biscuit malt. The finish is creamy and mildly bitter with a lemony hop aftertaste. Decent overall.

Can from the LCBO. Cloudy medium amber with a one finger off white head that fades slowly leaving tight lace. Nose is orange peel, vanilla, melon, cookie dough, honey, coconut and cream. Light+ sweet bread and melon with a medium- citrus and tropical fruit bitterness. Lots of vanilla that doesn't quite balance. Mouth is medium+ and creamy with soft carbonation. 8/4/6+/4-/15

16 ounce can into tulip glass, canned on 8/1/2019. Pours moderately hazy/cloudy deep golden amber color with a 1-2 finger dense and rocky off white head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a large cap that lasts. Thick foamy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of big tangerine, orange juice, coconut, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, vanilla, cream, almond, citrus peel/zest, cedar, mint, peppercorn, pine, wheat, cracker, biscuit dough, light honey/toast, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops, Pandan leaves, and bready malt notes; with big strength. Taste of big tangerine, orange juice, coconut, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, vanilla, cream, almond, citrus peel/zest, cedar, mint, peppercorn, pine, wheat, cracker, biscuit dough, light honey/toast, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, woody, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of tangerine, orange juice, coconut, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, vanilla, cream, almond, citrus peel/zest, cedar, mint, peppercorn, pine, wheat, cracker, biscuit dough, light honey/toast, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops, Pandan leaves, and bready malt flavors; with an awesome malt/bitterness balance, and no cloying/astringent flavors after the finish. Lightly increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Medium carbonation and medium-full body; with a very smooth, creamy/silky/bready/grainy, and fairly sticky/resinous/rindy mouthfeel that is great. Minimal warming alcohol for 8.3%. Overall this is an excellent DIPA. All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops, Pandan leaves, and bready malt flavors; very smooth and easy to drink for the ABV, with the mellowly bitter/resinous/drying finish; great soft feel, and not aggressive. Awesome Sabro hop showcase in combo with the Pandan Leave flavors. Very juicy, vibrant, and fairly dank/earthy hops; with a nice sized bready malt backbone. Light residual sweetness with lingering resin dryness. A very enjoyable offering, and impressive well made style example. Fun thing is there is no lactose or vanilla in the beer at all.
