12 ounce can from Woodman's Appleton, from the Dispensary Pack. 11/11/20. I feel like @cheap (u/40472 in case he ever changes his username), the rating below mine at this moment (a 1.0), always looks for the worst in things. That explains his outlook on life. Clear gold large foamy tan head, good retention. Aroma of dank (in a good way @cheap), dandelion, green hops, pale malt. Taste is melon, dank, grapefruit, pale malt. Medium bodied, crisp, moderate lingering bitterness. Solid.

Can as pictured. Hops and hemp, I heard the plants are related. Yellow with a thick white head. Does have a bit of a skunky nose. Taste is big thick viscous venerable hops, terribly IPA hops. Lots of impact here. You know it, whew. Too much, way too much. Who can enjoy so many hop preservatives in a beer? Just asking. Rude straight up and away, gahhhh. Nasty nellifier.

12 ounce can into tulip glass, best before 1/27/2020. Pours slightly hazy deep golden amber/light orange color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense and fluffy off white head with great retention, that reduces to a thin cap that lingers. Nice spotty foamy lacing clings on the glass, with a light amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big tangerine, red grapefruit, lemon, peach, pineapple, apricot, hemp seeds, passion fruit, mango, honeydew melon, berries, citrus peel/rind, wood, peppercorn, pine, wheat, honey, white bread dough, toasted biscuit, light caramel, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops, hemp seeds, and dark/bready malt notes; with big strength. Taste of big tangerine, red grapefruit, lemon, peach, pineapple, apricot, hemp seeds, passion fruit, mango, honeydew melon, berries, citrus peel/rind, wood, peppercorn, pine, wheat, honey, white bread dough, toasted biscuit, light caramel, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, woody, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of tangerine, red grapefruit, lemon, peach, pineapple, apricot, hemp seeds, passion fruit, mango, honeydew melon, berries, citrus peel/rind, wood, peppercorn, pine, wheat, honey, white bread dough, toasted biscuit, light caramel, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops, hemp seeds, and dark/bready malt flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance; and no cloying/astringent flavors after the finish. Light-moderate increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/bready/grainy/sticky, and fairly crisp/resinous/rindy balanced mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol for 6%. Overall this is an excellent hemp IPA. All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops, hemp seeds, and dark/bready malt flavors; very smooth, easy, and fairly crisp to drink with the mellowly bitter/resinous/drying finish. Great soft feel, and not aggressive. Awesome Chinook, Columbus, Simcoe profile. Very vibrant, juicy, dank, and earthy hops/hemp; with a great balanced dark/bready malt backbone. Light residual sweetness with crisp resin dryness. A very enjoyable offering, and impressive style example. Not as much dank weed character as I expected, but fits a classic hopped Midwest IPA perfectly.

Not overly herbal, which is good, but still weedy enough to drift into bongwater territory, with a mild citrus-pine hop profile augmented by hemp flavor, which adds a funky undercurrent to the otherwise basic West Coast IPA on display. Weak nose is unexpected--most of these hemp IPAs smell like a dispensary exploded--but, to be honest, more ganja wouldn't raise my opinion. Eh. I like this trend even less than Brut IPAs.

7 week old can A: Crystal clear pale orange gold with1/2 of loose beige foam. Good retention and light lace. S: Bitter acidic smell of citrus pith, zest, light cat and finally herb. T: Again bitter citrus notes with pronounced zest. Then a very woody flavor at the end leaves a surprisingly malty impression. M: Medium body with average carbonation and an oily full mouthfeel. O: The wood and bread flavors make this taste stronger than it is and detract from the hops and hemp, decreasing drinkability IMO. Not bad but a slight disappointment nonetheless.
