Our traditional light bodied Kolsch, cold steeped with caramel and hazelnut freshly roasted coffee beans. An amazingly unique brew that drinks as light as any lager but packs a delicious coffee punch!!

My first mistake was going outside. My second mistake was not opening this up earlier. A very good coffee, which I'm going to need for 9.

(Tap) clear, bright, yellow colour with a small, white head; aroma of coffee; balanced flavour with a long, light bitter finish; excellent if you like coffee

Gold colour with a bit of chill haze. Massive coffee aroma, almost with vanilla, chocolate. There’s a ton of chocolate, quite sweet, maybe coffee? Nutty? To me that sweetness make it unbalanced.

Got in a trade with AZBeerDude72. 12 ounce can into pint glass, canned on 7/1/2019. Pours slightly hazy pale golden yellow color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense and fluffy off white head with great retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big hazelnut coffee, honey, caramel, cracker, white bread dough, and lightly toasted biscuit; with lighter notes of vanilla, chocolate, cocoa, peach, pear, red apple, herbal, wood, grass, pepper, and yeast earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of hazelnut/caramel coffee, pale malts, and light earthy hops/fruity yeast notes; with big strength. Taste of big hazelnut coffee, honey, caramel, cracker, white bread dough, and lightly toasted biscuit; with lighter notes of vanilla, chocolate, cocoa, peach, pear, red apple, herbal, wood, grass, pepper, and yeast earthiness. Light herbal, woody, grassy, spicy, roasted coffee bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of hazelnut coffee, honey, caramel, cracker, white bread dough, lightly toasted biscuit, vanilla, chocolate, cocoa, fruit, herbal, wood, grass, pepper, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of hazelnut/caramel coffee, pale malts, and light earthy hops/fruity yeast flavors; with an awesome malt/bitterness balance, and no astringent flavors after the finish. Fairly crisp/clean finishing. Light-moderate increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Medium carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth, moderately bready/grainy, fairly sticky, and lightly chalky mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 4.7%. Overall this is an awesome coffee flavored Kolsch style. All around awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of hazelnut/caramel coffee, pale malts, and light earthy hops/fruity yeast flavors; very smooth, crisp, clean, and refreshing to drink with the mellowly bitter/drying finish. Very flavorful and not watery for the ABV. Awesome balance of fruity/nutty caramel/hazelnut coffee beans and clean pils malts; with solid earthy hops and restrained fruity yeast. Mild residual sweetness with crisp dryness. A really enjoyable offering, and impressively spot on bast style example. Not overwhelming on any aspect.

On tap at Pedal Haus. Clear golden with a medium white head. Aroma and taste of coffee, some bread and hints of grass. The mouthfeel was on the thin side. Drinkable but nothing special.

Poured from can dated 4/4/18 clear gold with a thin white head. Aroma is cold brew hazelnut vanilla coffee. Taste is slightly sweet coffee dominates which isnt a bad thing but the kolsch base is lost. --- Beer merged from original tick of Koffee Kölsch on 13 Jun 2018 at 18:46 - Score: 7

12 oz. can. Crystal clear gold appearance with very thin head. Aroma is huge cold brew coffee with a little bit of chocolate. The aroma is very inviting makes you want to sip it. The flavor has a strong lasting coffee through out. The Kolsch base is pretty much hidden but... No matter. It is a very tasty brew. Though a one trick pony.

At a tasting, thanks, small creamy head, clear gold color, aroma of coffee and mocha, same traits in flavor with some vanila and coconut. Nice and quite enjoyable.

Can sample at a tasting at troubles' place. Thanks Stas. Yellow. Nice strong coffee aroma, some mocha. Sweetish flavor, malt, coffee, bitterish touch.
