Third, tap, beer flight at Martin Bros. Micropizzeria. White tophead dissipating over an orange coloured body, hazy. Fair lacing. Tropical aromas added by citrus notes. Citrus flavours, grapefruit and orange. Bittersweet fruity finish. Fine bodied. Succulent and refreshing. (Leicester 12.07.2022).

Panda at home, thanks to the Wingmane, 28/05/22. Hazed orange with a big ole off white cap. Nose is orange zest, grass, melon, citric tinged straw, light floral notes, papaya. Taste comprises orange peel, soft malts, ripe melon, grass, bitter tropical fruits, light pine nip, hint of stoned fruits. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spliced with balanced lightly juicy come grassy hop bitterness. Respectable enough IPA.

Fresh can. Aroma shows grass, grapefruit peel, milled grain. The tastes is a exactly as the nose with mild pine. Soft mouthfeel that ends very dry. Pretty good as they have had time to dial this in. (Previously didn’t rate it at the brewery)

Got in a trade with SawDog505. 16 ounce can into tulip glass, canned on 5/31/2019. Pours opaquely hazy/cloudy deep golden/amber/light orange color with a 1-2 finger dense/creamy/rocky off white head with amazing retention, that reduces to nice cap that lasts. Thick foamy lacing clings on the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of big mandarin orange juice, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, guava, lychee, blueberry, gooseberry, citrus peel/zest, wood, light peppercorn/pine, wheat, biscuit dough, light honey/toast, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/tropical/fairly earthy hops and bready malt notes; with big strength. Taste of huge mandarin orange juice, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, guava, lychee, blueberry, gooseberry, citrus peel/zest, wood, light peppercorn/pine, wheat, biscuit dough, light honey/toast, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Light pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, woody, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of mandarin orange juice, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, guava, lychee, blueberry, gooseberry, citrus peel/zest, wood, peppercorn, pine, wheat, biscuit dough, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Fantastic complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/fairly earthy hops and bready malt flavors; with an awesome malt/bitterness balance, and no cloying/astringent flavors after the finish. Lightly increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Medium carbonation and medium-plus body; with a very smooth, creamy/silky/bready, and fairly sticky/resinous/rindy mouthfeel that is great. Minimal warming alcohol for 6.7%. Overall this is a fantastic NEIPA. All around fantastic complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/fairly earthy hops and bready malt flavors; very smooth and easy to drink with the mellowly bitter/resinous/drying finish; great soft feel. Fantastic Citra, Simcoe, & Topaz profile. Extremely juicy, vibrant, and fairly dank/earthy hop complexity; with a perfectly balanced wheat/oat/malt backbone. Light residual sweetness with lingering resin dryness. A highly enjoyable offering, and outstanding spot on style example.

On tap into taster cup at Craft Brew Race Portland. Appearance is opaque, cloudy dark yellow with thin ring of off-white head, no sparkle. Aroma is herbal; a little bit grassy and light scallions; mild pine, only background fruit. Taste is mild initial fruit but mainly strong, flavorful herbal (though not musky armpit), and pine. Palate is medium bodied with silky texture, average carbonation and crisp, dry finish as taste. Overall, solid aromas and flavors with fair complexity. Good.
