500 ml bottle into tulip glass, bottled in 6/2017. Pours slightly hazy pale golden yellow color with a small dense white head with great retention, that reduces to a thin cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big sour/tart/tangy apricots, peach, fruit skin/pits, lemon, lime, orange, grapefruit, pear, melon, red/green apple, white grape/wine, oak, hay, straw, grass, wheat, cracker, and white bread dough; with lighter notes of oaken vanilla, peppercorn, leathery/musty/lacto funk, white wine vinegar, and yeast/oak earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of apricots, fruity/funky/acidic yeast; moderate oak foeder, and pale/wheat malt notes; with big strength. Taste of huge sour/tart/tangy apricots, peach, fruit skin/pits, lemon, lime, orange, grapefruit, pear, melon, red/green apple, white grape/wine, oak, hay, straw, grass, wheat, cracker, and white bread dough; with lighter notes of oaken vanilla, peppercorn, leathery/musty/lacto funk, white wine vinegar, and yeast/oak earthiness. Light-moderate fruity/lactic tart/sourness, fruit tang, and light yeast/oak tannin spiciness on the finish. Lingering notes of sour/tart/tangy apricots, peach, fruit skin/pits, lemon, lime, orange, grapefruit, pear, melon, red/green apple, white grape/wine, oak, hay, straw, grass, wheat, cracker, white bread dough, light pepper/musty/lacto/funk, vinegar, and yeast/oak earthiness on the finish for a while. Fantastic complexity, robustness, and balance of apricots, fruity/funky/acidic yeast; moderate oak foeder, and pale/wheat malt flavors; with a great malt/tart/sourness, and tangy fruit balance; with minimal puckering flavors after the finish. Fairly crisp finishing. Light-moderate increasing dryness from lingering tart/sourness and tangy fruit. Medium carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/grainy/acidic/tangy, and fairly tannic balanced mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 5.5%. Overall this is a fantastic fruited sour/wild ale! All around fantastic complexity, robustness, and balance of apricots, fruity/funky/acidic yeast; moderate oak foeder, and pale/wheat malt flavors; very smooth and fairly crisp/refreshing to drink with the modestly acidic/tangy/tannic/drying finish; not overly lactic. Amazingly well rounded Brett/Bacteria complexity with balanced jammy apricots; nice oak foeder presence, and pale/wheat malts against acidity. Minimal residual sweetness with crisp acidic/tangy dryness. A highly enjoyable offering, and outstanding spot on style example as expected.

Bottle thanks to Adam! Pours a clear light earthy yellow with a white head that dissipates immediately and completely. Aroma has a tart ripe apricot with some acid and oak supporting. Flavor has strong sour apricot with a bit of oak and funk underlying.
