Can split at L6, thanks to Kenny, 'Farewell New Ken' tasting 18/09/19. Pitch black with a tan cap that dissipates to a swirl. Nose is chocolate, mellow roast, fruit cake, light spice mix. Taste comprises brown sugar melt, chocolate brownies, dried fruit rinds, light spice. Medium plus bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a boost offered. Decent enough easy drinker if no wow offered.

Tap at Hair of the Dog, Phrom Phong. Poured a clear dark brown colour with a thin tan head. The aroma is roasty malt, red berry fruits, spicy, boozy alcohol. The flavour is moderate sweet, with a smooth, rich, oily, spicy, dry coffee, nutty, boozy, aromatic palate. Medium to full bodied with soft carbonation. Didn’t really like the aftertaste. Not for me.

Black colour, small brown head. Aroma is dark chocolate, dried cherry, coffee, vanilla. Alcohol warms, but does not disturb. Light bitterness, not sweet. Full body, soft carbonation. Good!

Can. A- Cocoa. A- Black color, black liquid, brown head. T- Booze, cocoa, mild vanilla, cake. P- Full body, average texture, average carbonation, roasty finish. O- I am starting to like ET less and less. Is it a bad beer, no. But these are getting too gimmicky. Coffee, chocolate, almond, vanilla, all great, but then adding cake is too extra and doesn't add much tot he beer. I do get a tiny bit of each flavor but nothing really stands out. Fairly dry and roasty.

Migdalka bym nie zgadl. Ale moze i jest. Fajne kawowe nutki, nieco czekolady cieknej, gladziutkie cialo nie za pelne.... taki generalnie zrowniwazony taki, alko ladnie schowane, miluchno sie pije. W tle sporo a la kokos? Lukrecja? Wanilia?

Not bad, big and bold, too sweet but somewhat enjoyable, with a heavy dark chocolate middle laced with anise and vanilla, followed up by a dark roast coffee bitterness and hints of almond, black cherry, and caramel. No cake, but, hey, who expects wedding cake flavor in a beer called Imperial Wedding Cake Break?
