Can split at L6 at the Tipple's had tasting, thanks to Tipple, 17/04/19. Murky orange with a decent off white cap. Nose is grass, ripe pineapple, bitter orange, toasted malts, faint pine essence. Taste comprises orange pith, grass, tangerine, melon, citric tinged straw. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spiked with balanced grass laden hop bitterness. Not bad but pretty mid tier for a DIPA in this day and age!

Can shared in London - big thanks to Adi. Pours hazy yellow-gold with a creamy white topping. Fairly dry, very pithy, with light minerality, rindy bitterness, pine needles. Full bodied with average carbonation. Dry finish, more pithy citrus, flinty dryness. Not bad.

16 ounce can into tulip glass; no can dating, but is a recent local release. Pours very hazy deep golden amber color with a 1-2 finger dense and rocky white head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Thick soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of big tangerine, red grapefruit, lemon, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, mango, honeydew melon, berries, citrus peel/rind, wood, peppercorn, pine, cracker, white bread dough, biscuit, light toast, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and bready malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big tangerine, red grapefruit, lemon, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, mango, honeydew melon, berries, citrus peel/rind, wood, peppercorn, pine, cracker, white bread dough, biscuit, light toast, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Light pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, woody, floral, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of tangerine, red grapefruit, lemon, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, mango, honeydew melon, berries, citrus peel/rind, wood, peppercorn, pine, cracker, white bread dough, biscuit, light toast, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and bready malt flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance, and no cloying/astringent flavors after the finish. Lightly increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Medium carbonation and medium-plus body; with a very smooth, creamy/silky/bready/grainy, and fairly sticky mouthfeel that is great. Light lingering resins/rinds through the glass. Minimal warming alcohol for 8%. Overall this is an awesome DIPA. All around awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and bready malt flavors; very smooth and easy to drink for the ABV, with the mellowly bitter/drying finish, great soft feel. Fantastic hop showcase as expected. Extremely juicy, vibrant, and fairly dank/earthy hop complexity; with a perfectly balanced clean oat/malt backbone. Light residual sweetness with lingering resin dryness. A really enjoyable offering, and impressive hazy style example as expected.

17th February 2019 Level 6 bottleshare. Thanks to Tips for the can. Hazy gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Smooth palate, semi dry, decent fine carbonation. Soft pale malts, decently sweet, a little thin cream. Ripe tangerine and blood orange. Mild pine. More nibbly hop spice. Tangerine getting stronger on the finish. Nice.

Can from Village Beer Merchant. Fruity, citric, tropical fruits, bit of onions, rather smooth and not aggressively bitter. Well drinkable.
