Bottled@Koht, Tallinn. Black colour, small brown head. Aroma is ginger, liquorice, alcohol and some caramel. Flavour is liquorice, ginger, alcohol. A bit too sweet to be really good.

Dark brown pour with some brown foam on top. Nose really has a lot of ginger, some ashy roastiness here as well. Taste has some more ginger, relatively dry though and that ashy roast character is not a bad match there. Dry roast and some ginger spicy glow in the finish. Bitterness lingering for a while. Better than I thought but not sure how well ginger actually matches with a stout.

Pitch black color. Tons of ginger thin body with a bit of roasted malt. Ok.

33cl bottle from Sip, Tartu. Pours very dark brown with a beige head. Roasty aroma with dominating notes of spicy ginger; dark chocolate, dried fruits and hints of herbs. Thx. Bottle sample @ Koht - Tallinn. Black, mocha head. Nose is liquorice, star anise & perfume. Taste is perfume, liquorice, herbal, raisin, berries, mocha, black berries. Perfume & berry notes safe it from the liquorice. Liquorice & spice body.

Dark opaque colour, small steady, beige head. Toasted aroma, strong ginger aroma. Medium-bodied. Toasted, malty flavour with ginger bite. Ginger dominates here. Decent ... if you like that ginger.

Bottle (at koht). Pours dark brown-black. Aroma is roast, malt, some fruits. Flavor is sweet and bitter, roast, malt, molass, ginger. Finish is ginger and roast. Overall: good.

Rough, but nice. Mellow.
