Quarantine Beer #028 sampled at home during the Social Distancing Festival on 03/22/2020. Pours a hazy amber-gold color with a medium white head that recedes steadily to an outer ring. Sparse strings of lace. Grassy hop, citrus and malt aroma. Medium body with flavors of grassy hops, grapefruit and bready malt. The finish is mildly bitter with a short dank citrusy hop aftertaste. Decent overall.

Funny label on this can. Smells like a fresh IPA, perfumy beer and such. Is pale and hazy, fer sher. Nice head. Taste? Just another rude ass straight up IPA like a billion others. Go figger. Probably should be an imperial IPA at 7%? No? Volatile short brief warming periods in the gullet. Am I getty little dizzy? What else can be said about these ticks, which are like chewing on a tar sap soaked rubber inner tube? Outtah here, not impressed.

12 oz can. Pours a yellow gold with a swirly haze and a white head. Tropical mango, grapefruit aroma. Flavor has tropical pineapple and citrus orange, grapefruit hop flavors, at times some pleasant peppery spice. Occasional touch of biscuit. Very nicely done.

Airy off white head left a spotty cover & a collar on a hazy dark lemon coloured still body. Juicy aroma of orange, fruit smoothie & sweet citrus. Full bodied, thick & chewy in the mouth, I'm sure I feel bits of fruit! Well carbonated & smooth & clean on the finish. Sweet citrus, orange, oat, pine, tangerine, peach, nectarine & some slight malt tastes.

12 ounce can into tulip glass, canned on 8/15/2018. Pours very hazy/cloudy golden amber/light orange color with a 1-2 finger dense and rocky off white head with great retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation retaining in the cap. Aromas of big tangerine, lemon, grapefruit, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, guava, berries, citrus peel/rind, light peppercorn, pine, wheat, cracker, biscuit dough, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and bready malt notes; with great strength. Taste of huge tangerine, lemon, grapefruit, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, guava, berries, citrus peel/rind, light peppercorn, pine, wheat, cracker, biscuit dough, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Light pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of tangerine, lemon, grapefruit, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, guava, berries, citrus peel/rind, peppercorn, pine, wheat, cracker, biscuit dough, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and bready malt flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance; and no lingering hop astringency after the finish. Light-moderate increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, creamy/bready/grainy, fairly sticky, and lightly resinous/rindy mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol for 7%. Overall this is an awesome NEIPA. All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and bready malt flavors; very smooth and easy to drink with the mellowly bitter/drying finish. Fairly soft feel, and not aggressive. Definitely has Mosaic/Citra, and maybe Amarillo or El Dorado. Very juicy and fairly dank/earthy hop complexity; great wheat/oat/malt backbone, with minimal residual sweetness from lingering bitter dryness. A very enjoyable offering, and spot on style example as expected.
