Ok, another stupid ass IPA, in a green can none-the-less. It pours with a slight haze and big giant foaming 3 inch head. Must have been shaken. Off weird nose of mild rotten fruit and unwashed beerglass. First taste is big bitter beer, just like any other IPA. Why do we have so many beers out there that taste pretty much the same? Yes, I'm talken about IPA and IPA bastardized styles. When I pour this stuff from can to glass, it present a decent show. However, the taste is so over the top. So bitter, so nasty. Typical IPA style. If you like IPA, ignore my numbers and put this in yer bucket list, with the rest of the million similar tasting IPA out there. There you have it; not worth the price of a tick. Stupid straight up ass ubiquitous IPA.

12 ounce can into tulip glass, canned on 5/10/2018. Pours moderately hazy/cloudy deep golden amber color with a 1 finger fairly dense and rocky off white head with great retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice dense soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big apricot, tangerine, grapefruit, lemon, peach, pineapple, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, berry, citrus peel/rind, light peppercorn, pine, wheat, biscuit dough, light honey, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and moderate bready malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big apricot, tangerine, grapefruit, lemon, peach, pineapple, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, berry, citrus peel/rind, light peppercorn, pine, wheat, biscuit dough, light honey, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of apricot, tangerine, grapefruit, lemon, peach, pineapple, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, berry, citrus peel/rind, peppercorn, pine, wheat, biscuit dough, light honey, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and moderate bready malt flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance, and no lingering hop astringency after the finish. Light-moderate increasing dryness from bitterness. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth and moderately creamy/bready/grainy/sticky balanced mouthfeel that is great; light lingering resins/rinds after the finish. Minimal warming alcohol for 7.5%. Overall this is an awesome Midwest IPA! All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and moderate bready malt flavors; very smooth and easy to drink with the modestly bitter/reisnous/drying finish, not overly aggressive. Amarillo, Cascade, Chinook, Citra hops. Very juicy and fairly dank/earthy hop complexity; nice bready wheat/oat malt backbone, mild lingering sweetness with increasing dryness. A really enjoyable offering, loved the hop profile as expected.
Smooth juicy, sweet, sticky, mellow mix. Makes for easy drinking. Soft tropical hop juice.

Draft. Murky deep gold/orange. Frothy white head. Aroma of orange, citrus, peach, lemon, light pine, some floral notes, toasted grain. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes lightly to moderately sweet and moderately bitter. Medium body, watery/velvety texture, lively carbonation. Taste of orange/grapefruit juice. Thick mouthfeel.

Solid West Coast IPA, pine on the forefront with grapefruit, earth, and lemon adding depth. Caramel and biscuit provide a good malt base, and the clingy bitterness on the finish is a welcome sight in the face of all these damned hazy juice bombs. Nothing here really separates Entropic Theory from the pack, but, hey, it hits the notes I want in an IPA, so kudos.

Willebecher draft at MadTree 2.0 in Cincinnati, Ohio. The pour is a hazed copper golden with an off white head that has great coating lace. The aroma is bright tropical and citrus fruit hop, with sweet malt present as well. The taste is super fresh, nice balance between the tropical fruit hops, the bright citrus and the clean sweet malt backbone. The palate is medium bodied, low natural carbonation and dry softly bitter and mineral finish. Hit the spot nicely.
