0,66l from bottle shared by Rob at Ammutson some days ago, big thanks. Amber murky, white head. Smells spices, bit yeasty, grassy, light passion fruit. Tastes of passion fruit, grassy, spices, nutty, berry notes. Finishes lightly bitter with notes of spices, passion fruit and light sweetness. drinkable but not very exciting, not one that aged gracefully

Pours clear dark golden color with white. Aromas of tropical fruit, yeast, and some grains. Slightly tart and sweet passionfruit flavor with some dough. Light to medium body with lively carbonation.

Crystal clear golden coloured body with a light amber glow, all with a perfect two centimetre tall, slightly off-white head. Aroma of passionfruit, funky belgian yeast, bread, light grain, a touch of caster sugar and a tiny hint of wildflower and sage. Medium-bodied; Strong herbal and grassy flavour at first with a definite yeast presence from the Belgian yeast strain that shows some bread, honey and high notes of alcohol along with a touch of astringency. The passionfruit and guava flavours come soon afterwards, and aren't sour, but more sweet and showing the tropical vibe, coupled with the large yeast presence. Aftertaste is powerful with the yeast, alcohol, sweetness and malt dominating - the sweetness and fruity flavours take a backseat, but that works out well with this one. Overall, a nice and enjoyable belgian beer that just so happens to have tropical fruits in the mix - they aren't the focal point, but they show up well and leave a good finish on the palate. I sampled this 65 cL bottle purchased from BevMo! in Vacaville, California on 10-March-2019 for US$8,99 (Release #8, 9,0% abv, SLC: 5202?) sampled a few hours later in my hotel room here in Vacaville, California on 10-March-2019.

medium amber color. Big dank over ripe passionfruity nose with modest tartness. The mouth is full of overripe passion fruits, moderately tart, malty and full body. Super quaffable for the abv. Lovely.

Bottle. A- Passion fruit, dank. A- Gold color, hazy liquid, minimal head. T- Dank, passion fruit, clove. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, balanced finish. O- Loads of passion fruit. They could turn this beer into a full blown sour and I bet it would kick ass. As it warms the passion fruit starts to fade a bit and gives way to those Belgian ale qualities with some candi yeast and spice. Overall, pretty solid.

22 ounce bottle into tulip glass; batch #2, no bottle dating, 2018 vintage. Pours slightly hazy medium golden yellow color with a 1 finger dense and rocky white head with good retention, that reduces to small cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big juicy/tart/tangy passion fruit, papaya, fruit skin, mango, melon, berry, peach, pear, pineapple, red apple, peppercorn, light banana/clove, candi sugar, cracker, white bread, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of passion fruit, fruity/spicy yeast, candi sugar, pale malt, and light-moderate earthy hop notes; with great strength. Taste of big juicy/tart/tangy passion fruit, papaya, fruit skin, mango, melon, berry, peach, pear, pineapple, red apple, peppercorn, light banana/clove, candi sugar, cracker, white bread, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness. Light-moderate peppery yeast spiciness, herbal/grassy bitterness, and fruit tang/tartness on the finish. Lingering notes of tart/tangy passion fruit, papaya, fruit skin, mango, melon, berry, peach, pear, pineapple, red apple, peppercorn, light banana/clove, candi sugar, cracker, white bread, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of passion fruit, fruity/spicy yeast, candi sugar, pale malt, and light-moderate earthy hop flavors; with an awesome malt/bitter/spicy and tart/tangy fruit balance; with no cloying, puckering, astringent flavors after the finish. Light-moderate dryness from bitter/spiciness, tart/tangy fruit, and carbonation. Medium-plus carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately bready, grainy, acidic, tangy, and fairly crisp balanced mouthfeel that is great. Minimal warming alcohol for 8.6%. Overall this is an awesome fruit Belgian strong pale ale! All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of passion fruit, fruity/spicy yeast, candi sugar, pale malt, and light-moderate earthy hop flavors; very smooth, crisp, and dangerously easy to drink for the ABV, with the modesty tart/spicy/drying finish. Extremely juicy authentic Passion fruit flavors; with awesome balance of fruity/spicy yeast complexity, and pale malts/sugars. Not overly sweet/heavy, well attenuated and drying. A really enjoyable offering, and spot on style example. Best of the non-soured series I've had yet.
