Galaxy-Hero gets a mighty elevation of cosmic power from massive infusions of Galaxy hops alongside Citra, Amarillo, Cryo Simcoe, and the new BRU1 hop. He emerges with a double raygun blast of tropical fruit and fresh citrus shining through a smooth, hazy body.

Can @ taproom at Logan Square, Chicago (10/7/22). Extremely hazy bright yellow with a large foamy light beige head, mango-citrus aroma, medium carbonation, medium bitter mango-citrus peel-pineapple taste, thin body, long smooth citrus peel finish. Flavorful.

In the can the aromas are fresh citrus hops with some mint, a little weed and resin. Flavors are like nose, a little sweet tart up front with the sweetness disappearing and a little more bitter. Good body and finish. Drinkable beer.

Pours hazy yellow with a white head and a very fruity, hoppy aroma that includes citrus and tropical fruit. The flavor has moderate to strong bitterness and plenty of citrus with enough malt to complement it well. Medium bodied and good.

Can shared by Adam, thanks! Pours a cloudy yellow orange with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has dank citrus and a touch of papaya with a light sweet grain backbone. Flavor has earthy citrus and light marijuana with some sweet grains and grass underlying.

12 ounce can into tulip glass, canned on 3/5/2018. Pours slightly hazy deep golden amber color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense and rocky off white head with great retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big pineapple, tangerine, peach, apricot, passion fruit, mango, melon, berry, white grape, grapefruit, lemon, citrus peel/rind, green pepper, pine, toasted bread, light honey/caramel, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and moderate bready malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big pineapple, tangerine, peach, apricot, passion fruit, mango, melon, berry, white grape, grapefruit, lemon, citrus peel/rind, green pepper, pine, toasted bread, light honey/caramel, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of pineapple, tangerine, peach, apricot, passion fruit, mango, melon, berry, white grape, grapefruit, lemon, citrus peel/rind, green pepper, pine, toasted bread, light honey/caramel, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Incredible complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and moderate bready malt flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance, and zero lingering hop astringency after the finish. Moderate increasing dryness from bitterness. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately crisp, creamy/bready/sticky, and fairly resinous/rindy balanced mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol for 7%. Overall this is a fantastic IPA! All around outstanding complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and moderate bready malt flavors; very smooth, crisp, and easy to drink with the modestly bitter/drying finish; never overly aggressive. Apollo, Centennial, and Galaxy hops in the brew process; but the Galaxy has the biggest presence all around. Extremely vibrant, juicy, dank, and earthy balanced hop complexity; nice solid bready malt backbone, with no residual sweetness. A highly enjoyable offering as expected. Just as impressive as the regular, but a bit more resinous and drying.
