A drumroll fills you with anticipation—much like the notes in this Hazy Pale Ale. Each year we select the rock-star hops of the harvest to craft this bold, juicy, tropically hop-forward brew, drumming up a citrus-inspired rhythm for what’s to come.

Can from Raynville Superstore. It pours hazy golden - yellow with a medium fluffy white head. The aroma is fresh, sweet, ripe pineapple vibes, nectarine, twist of candied lemon, pomelo, touch green and sponge cake. The taste is crisp, dry, snappy, bitter - sweet, orange fanta, peach, pineapple, nectarine, apricot, floury bread, touch of sponge cake, light greenness, weediness and light alcohol with a drying, greenish finish. Medium body and moderate, foamy carbonation. Works quite well. Nice fruity vibes.

The in-town craft beer store has had a ton of Odell beers lately, this evening it is Drumroll. I lift the top on the 12 oz can and tilt inside of a tulip glass. The appearance is a semi-clear, straw yellow body with a persistent skim of of wholly white, very small bubbles. I smell grass and tropical. A drink now, not bad. Some pine, lightly with pineapple and lemon. Actually there is a decent hops presence and an accompanying bitterness. Better than expected.

12 oz can from Total Wine - San Antonio. Pours a cloudy gold color with an off white head and excellent retention. Surprisingly little lacing. Light citrus aroma. The taste is hoppier than the aroma. I taste hops up front with a light grapefruit finish. There's a fine line between this hazy pale ale versus a regular pale ale. Medium body. Decent carbonation. Soft hops bitterness.

12 oz. can from a costco 24-pack. Pours a pale, hazy, yellow color, with a big, bubbly, off-white head. The nose is dusty attic, apricot, sawdust, and grapefruit peel. Dry and malty, with a mellow bitterness. Pretty fair. FYI, goes pretty well as a Cynar-IPA spritz. Try it...
