Can. Hazy paleish yellow gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is light and mildly dry, decent fine carbonation. Smooth light malts integrates well with a light vanilla. Slightly watery orange with a touch of orange squash. Tarter orange on the finish but still thin tasting. Lacks punch and Bolero Snort did this much much better.

This brew is a hazy orange-gold color with a medium thin white head that burns away quickly to an outer ring. Short strings of lace. Aroma of citrus, vanilla and hops. Medium body with flavors of citrusy hops, vanilla, pine and malt. The finish is mildly bitter with an orange, vanilla and hop aftertaste. Pretty good overall.

Super hazy orange and copper coloured body with a thick, three centimetre tall, billowy off-white head that stays afloat for a long time. Aroma of, yes, oranges, sugars, light citrus, vanilla and a dose of alcohol and resin throughout - quite potent in the nose. Full-bodied; Super rich flavours of oranges, grain, alcohol, yeast, bread, vanilla, sugar, lactose and a bit of pineapple and tropical fruits noticeable as well that make this quite rich, especially with the higher alcohol, the malt content and the vanilla in the mix. Aftertaste shows the resin, the oranges and curacao along with the vanilla and definitely a lot of the malt shows through towards the end. Overall, a quite strong and incredibly pungent Imperial IPA with a definite fruit-centric flavour that has a lot of oranges and vanilla, but also some slightly bitter and more typical hop notes with some resin, pine and a dose of flowers towards the end as well, make this robust and deep. Nice to sample, but perhaps not my favourite IPA given it's richness and relatively one-sided nature. I sampled this pint-sized, sixteen ounce can purchased yesterday at Hy-Vee [Papillion] in Omaha, Nebraska on 05-November-2018 for US$4,99 sampled a day later in my hotel room here in Council Bluffs, Iowa on 06-November-2018.

Aromaz are the odd combination of sweet skunk in fresh hops that is not at all pleasing. Flavors aren't quite so bad although dominated by kind of a creamsicle character. I'm a little old-fashioned I like an IPA to taste more or less like an IPA not an ice cream sundae type thing.

16 ounce can into tulip glass, canned on 2/20/2018. Pours moderate hazy/cloudy golden amber/light orange color with a 1-2 finger dense and rocky off white head with amazing retention, that reduces to a small cap that lasts. Thick soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big tangerine, grapefruit, lemon, peach, pineapple, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, berry, coconut, vanilla, marshmallow, cream, citrus zest, honey, brown sugar, biscuit dough, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/tropical hops, vanilla, sugars, and bready malt notes; with great strength. Taste of huge tangerine, grapefruit, lemon, peach, pineapple, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, berry, coconut, vanilla, marshmallow, cream, citrus zest, honey, brown sugar, biscuit dough, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Very mild pine, zesty, herbal, grassy bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of tangerine, grapefruit, lemon, peach, pineapple, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, berry, coconut, vanilla, marshmallow, cream, citrus zest, honey, brown sugar, biscuit dough, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Incredible complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical hops, vanilla, sugars, and bready malt flavors; with a solid malt/bitterness balance; and zero cloying/astringent flavors after the finish. Slightly increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Medium carbonation and medium-full body; very smooth, creamy/silky/bready, and slightly sticky/resinous mouthfeel that is fantastic. Mildly increasing warmth of 8.6% after the finish. Overall this is a fantastic dessert DIPA! All around outstanding complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical hops, vanilla, sugars, and bready malt flavors; very smooth and dangerously easy to drink for the ABV with the minimally bitter/drying finish. Drinks like a NEIPA as I expected from some of their other DIPAs; amazingly soft mouthfeel. Insanely juicy hop complexity; balanced vanilla, sugars, bready malts; not overly sweet/heavy considering what is going on here. A highly enjoyable offering.
