22 ounce bottle into tulip glass, bottled on 6/27/2017. Pours fairly crystal clear deep golden/amber color with a 1-2 finger dense and rocky white head with awesome retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Thick soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of big peach, pineapple, apricot, passionfruit, papaya, mango, melon, tangerine, grapefruit, lemon zest, orange peel, light pepper/pine, honey, biscuit, light caramel, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of fruity/tropical hops and bready malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big peach, pineapple, apricot, passionfruit, papaya, mango, melon, tangerine, grapefruit, lemon zest, orange peel, light pepper/pine, honey, biscuit, light caramel, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel, grassy, spicy bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of peach, pineapple, apricot, passionfruit, papaya, mango, melon, tangerine, grapefruit, lemon zest, orange peel, light pepper/pine, honey, biscuit, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Great complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/tropical hops and bready malt flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance, and zero cloying/astringent flavors after the finish. Lightly increasing dryness from bitterness. Medium carbonation and medium-full body; with a very smooth, creamy/bready/grainy, fairly sticky, and slightly resinous balanced mouthfeel that is great. Alcohol is well hidden; a mildly increasing warmth lingering after the finish. Overall this is an excellent DIPA. All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/tropical hops and bready malt flavors; very smooth and dangerously easy to sip on for the big ABV, with the mellowly bitter/drying finish. Very unique hop profile with the Idaho 7/Vic Secret. Not very strong on the Simcoe/Columbus character. Extremely juicy hop profile with a balanced malt backbone. On the malty side for a DIPA as with the Maharaja, but not overly sweet/heavy feeling for the ABV. A very enjoyable offering, and spot on style example.

On draught at the brewery during "Adam Avery's Cellar Sale" on 10/06/2017. Hazy golden color with a medium white head that diminishes steadily to an outer ring. Short strings of lace. Aroma of tropical fruit, piney hops and malt. Medium to full body with flavors of resiny hops, grapefruit and caramel malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a piney hop aftertaste. Pretty good overall.

Keg at Freshcraft - Denver. Pours litly hay yellow with a tight, creamy white head. The aroma holds citrus peel, pale bread, pine needles. Medium sweet flavour, boozy, with some sugary white bread, moderate grass and pine, some ripe lemon and orange peel. Full bodied, oily and chewy, with fine to average carbonation. Warming finish, lightly resinous, with more pale bread, white grape, golden raisins, bitter pine. Pretty basic stuff.

On tap at Mikkeller San Francisco, pours a clear blonde with a small white head. Aroma is quite oily and hot, with plenty of piney hops, hop oils and alcohol. Flavour is oily and hot as well, with lots of hop oils and phenols. Hot and jagged - rather messy.

Draft pour at Hop and Hound, Bothell. Listed at 9.0% A slightly hazy golden orange pour with a ton of foam head. Aroma is an overload of juicy fresh pineapple. Totally gives the impression that this beer was made with them. Flavor is a juicy constant as well, pineapple forward, orange bitter, mango. Lingering orange peel like bitterness. Tries to be sweet, but drowned out with the bitterness. Quite an impressive hop bill here. Flavorful, and quite a refreshing imperial. I imagine a bomber of this to yourself would be plenty of company for the night. Good stuff.
