Nebraska was home to many wonderful breweries before us. This Beer pays homage to some of The Choicest Products of the Brewers' Art. Wonderfully bright and pale in color with a satisfying malt flavor. Classically Nebraskan.

On tap at GABF. Pours golden with small white head leaving spotty lacing. The aroma is grass and citrus. Thin body, some citrus and wheat, light finish, decent.

12 oz. can. Hazy pale yellow, large foamy white head. Lacing has good retention. Aroma of pils malt, hay, floral notes. Taste follows nose with some fruitiness and mild earthy bitterness. Okay.

12 ounce can into lager glass, canned on 2/14/2017. Pours slightly hazy pale golden/straw color with a 1 finger dense white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings down the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Aromas of cracker, bread dough, lightly toasted biscuit, light honey, herbal, floral, grass, light pepper, and yeast earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance of pale malt and earthy hop notes; with solid strength. A bit fruity/yeasty, but not overwhelming. Taste of cracker, bread dough, lightly toasted biscuit, light honey, herbal, light pepper, and floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate herbal/grassy/spicy bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of cracker, bread dough, lightly toasted biscuit, herbal, pepper, and floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice robustness and balance of pale malt and earthy hop flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance. Light-moderate dryness from lingering bitterness, increasing through the glass. Touch of hop astringency near the end of the glass, but not overwhelming. Very clean on lager flavors, with minimal yeast notes present. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately crisp, creamy/bready/grainy, and lightly sticky balanced mouthfeel that is nice. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 5.1%. Overall this is a very nice Czech pilsener style! All around nice robustness and balance of pale malt and earthy hop flavors; very smooth, crisp, clean, and refreshing to drink. Very well balanced and flavorful for the ABV. A very enjoyable offering, and spot on style example.

Golden color. Spicy hoppy nose that is somewhat astringent. The mouth is slightly perfumy with modest bitterness. The hips are odd. Not good or bad. Very unauthentic, but feels a bit off balance, though the more I drink the more I think it is balanced. Not bad, but not my favorite.
