12 ounce bottle into tulip glass, bottled on 8/12/2016. Pours slightly hazy/cloudy medium golden amber/light orange color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense and fluffy white head with great retention, that reduces to small cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings around the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Aromas of lightly tart lemon, melon, peach, pear, apple, white grape, wheat, cracker, lightly toasted bread, hay, grass, herbal, light pepper/funk, and yeast earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance and complexity of fruity/earthy yeast and light-moderate pale malt/earthy hop notes; with solid strength. Taste of lightly tart lemon, melon, peach, pear, apple, white grape, wheat, cracker, lightly toasted bread, hay, grass, herbal, pepper, light funk, and yeast earthiness. Light-moderate herbal/spicy bitterness and light fruity/lactic tartness on the finish; with lingering notes of tart lemon, melon, peach, pear, apple, white grape, wheat, cracker, lightly toasted bread, hay, herbal, pepper, light funk, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/earthy yeast and light-moderate pale malt/earthy hop flavors; with a great malt/bitter/tartness balance, and zero puckering flavors after the finish. Moderate dryness from bitter/tartness and carbonation, increasing through the glass. Medium-high carbonation and light body; with a very smooth, crisp, fairly acidic/grainy, and lightly sticky balanced mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 4%. Overall this is a very nice session sour. All around nice complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/earthy yeast and light-moderate pale malt/earthy hop flavors; very smooth, crisp, and refreshing to drink. A very enjoyable offering. Very flavorful for the low ABV.

12 ounce bottle from Whole Foods Milwaukee, 10/9/16. Hazy orange, thin foamy white head, decent retention. Aroma of green apple, candied lemon and pale malt. The taste is green apple, apple skins, lemon, pale malt, cherries. Thin.

12oz bottle. Filtered amber-orange body. Big, foamy, white head. Seltzery, bright, not that impressive. The sour notes certainly aren’t that complex, and the malt backdrop is questionable and thin. Pretty much tastes like what you’d expect an AB session sour to taste like..underwhelming, neutered, uninspired. Drinkable, not off, but not one I’d pick up again.

Pour is a hazy orange with a large white head. Aroma is a fruity tartness. I don’t get much melon but I do get a lot of white grape. Flavor is kind of thin all around. A bit of grape with a very minor tartness. A very thin and watery finish. Not very tart and not real flavorful either.
