26/8/2024. Can courtesy of Bruno, cheers. Pours cloudy dark orange with a frothy/creamy white head. Aroma is sweet, grainy, honey, pineapple, honeydew melon, oats, touch of sweet molasses. Pleasantly sweet with mild bitterness. Medium body, oily, average carbonation. Really enjoyed this.

Got in a trade with The-Adjunct-Hippie. 12 ounce can into pint glass, no can dating. Pours moderately hazy/cloudy golden/yellow color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense and fluffy white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings down the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Aromas of lemon, pear, apple, wheat, cracker, honey, brown sugar, toasted oats, biscuit, herbal, floral, pepper, grass, and yeast earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance and complexity of fruity yeast, pale malt, honey, molasses, and earthy hop notes; with solid strength. Taste of lemon, pear, apple, wheat, cracker, honey, brown sugar, toasted oats, biscuit, herbal, floral, pepper, grass, and yeast earthiness. Light-moderate herbal/grassy/spicy bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of lemon, pear, apple, wheat, cracker, honey, brown sugar, toasted oats, biscuit, herbal, floral, pepper, grass, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity yeast, pale malt, honey, molasses, and earthy hop flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance, and no cloying/astringent flavors after the finish. Light-moderate dryness from bitterness and carbonation, increasing through the glass. Medium-high carbonation and medium body; with a very smooth, moderately crisp, and creamy/grainy/sticky balanced mouthfeel that is nice. Zero warming alcohol for 7.1%. Overall this is a very nice blonde ale. All around nice complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity yeast, pale malt, honey, molasses, and earthy hop flavors; very smooth, crisp, clean, and refreshing to drink. A very unique beer; tastes like a cross between Kolsch, Wheat, and Blonde ale styles. A very enjoyable offering.

Sampled at the brewery, 11/24/15. Hazy yellowish color with a ring of white head. Lemon and grains. Some grassy notes. Wheat. Yeast / spice notes as well. Lively carbonation, slightly dry close. Solid.

It pours a hazy straw gold...looks like a Wit or a Hefe. Small head of foam subsides quickly leaving a ring around the glass. Minimal lacing.

The smell is interesting. I get some sweet notes from the molasses and honey but I also get some smoke and a bit of lemon zest type of hoppiness.

Man is this tasty. There’s an earthy quality that dominates. Yeah, there’s some sweet to it with the honey, a bit of sweet and bitter with the molasses, then there’s the smoke. Adds a nice dimension here but is far from being over done. Everything seems so in balance and that makes for a smooth drinker. Oh and I do get a hint or 2 of lemon zest in the finish. Deeper into the session and there is a definite nutty flavour going on.

Fairly light with the body and carbonation. Smoooooth.

Pours cloudy orange, rather like an IPA. Pleasant cracker or biscuit aroma. Light bodied, like it should be. Sweetish flavour with a certain hop note. Light finish.
