We love summer and we love making beer for summer. Here’s one for you to enjoy while it lasts. This limited release has a big hop aroma leading to a fresh, clean flavor. Grab a sixer and watch the sunset...or sunrise (summer can get weird like that).

Can from Holiday Market. Pours a clearish gold with a finger of white foam that lingers. Citrus and pith focused nose with some light tropical pineapple and mango aromas as it warms. Soft mouthfeel with muted bitterness, crackery malt and light pineapple and citrus flavors. Some mineral-like notes and pine on the finish.

Can. Pours a slightly hazy gold with a thin head. Aromas of peach, pear, and a bit of honey. Nose is faint, but pleasant enough. Flavor is clean and fruity up front with a little bit of a tangy finish. Decent enough, but not inspiring.

Several pours from a six-pack. Gold color. It has an odd, unique flavor that I can’t describe. I’m not sure I like it but I don’t dislike it. It’s not the beer, it’s me!

12 ounce can into pint glass; no can dating, but is a recent release. Pours slightly hazy medium golden yellow color with a 2 finger dense and rocky off white head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Nice dense soapy lacing clings down the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation retaining the head. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of big tangerine, pineapple, peach, grapefruit, passion fruit, mango, lemon/orange peel, light pine, light honey, toasted bread, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of bright citrus/tropical hops and moderate bready malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big tangerine, pineapple, peach, grapefruit, passion fruit, mango, lemon/orange peel, pine, light honey, toasted bread, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate pine/herbal/grassy bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of tangerine, pineapple, peach, grapefruit, passion fruit, mango, lemon/orange peel, pine, toasted bread, and herbal/floral/grassy hop earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Damn nice complexity, robustness, and balance of bright citrus/tropical/pine hops and moderate bready malt flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance, and zero lingering hop astringency after the finish. Moderate dryness from bitterness, increasing through the glass. Medium carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth, moderately crisp/sticky/grainy, and lightly resinous balanced mouthfeel that is nice. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 5.5%. Overall this is a great American pale ale. All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of bright citrus/tropical/pine hops and moderate bready malt flavors; very smooth, crisp, and refreshing to drink. A very enjoyable offering.
