Anchor's Mango Wheat is crisply refreshing, effervescent, golden ale that highlights the delectable character of this singular fruit. This brew pours marigold yellow, slightly hazy with white wheaty head. The aromas are fruity, ripe mangoes with hints of apricot and peach with a taste slightly sweet from mangoes with a hint of citrus tartness. It has a light and easy drinking mouthfeel and finishes crisp and clean with no lingering sweetness.

Grunt the fill from Albertsons. Medium golden cir, hazy, small creamy head. Light fruity aroma, tropical and peaches. Taste also is sweet and fruity, a little bubblegum. Taste fades quickly, leaving you wondering what you just drank. Might be nice in the summer time, but a bit bland in the dead of winter.

Keg at Tempest - SF. Pours clear gold with a foamy, white head. The nose holds pale bread, light citrus fruits, mango, peach. Light to medium sweet flavour with more pale, bready malts, mild mango, minimal bitterness. Light bodied with average carbonation. OK balance on the finish, some fruity accents, but perhaps a touch bland on the whole.

Rich copper coloured body with a nice tan head, about two centimetres tall with a lot of bubbles rising from the sides. Aroma of pure fresh mangoes with a big dose of wheat and light grain with a touch of wheat and grass. Light-bodied; Strong mango flavour with a rich malt backbone of wheat and a very smooth finish showing citrus, caster sugar and a lot of mango freshness. Aftertaste shows a very subdued and fresh flavour of fruit, light wheat and grassy flavours along with a lot of sweetness, that remains very easy to drink. Overall, a nice full-flavoured beer that is thinnish and very easy to drink, especially available as a can! I sampled this twelve ounce can purchased from Total Wine in Alexandria, Virginia on 22-November-2016 for US$2,29 sampled on the roof of my hotel in New York, New York on 21-January-2017.

12 ounce can. Hazy amber, large foamy white head, good retention. Aroma of strong mango, a bit canny, and wheat. The taste is wheat, mango, tart citrus. Medium bodied, high carbonation. I got this entire rating done during the intercession during Pigs (Three Different Ones). Neat!

$2.20 can from Wine Warehouse. Pours mostly clear golden with a giant off-white head. Aroma of mango and apricot. Perhaps they’re on int he same aromas. Slightly bitter grasses up front, followed by fruitiness of mango, and again apricot. Finishes with a toasted bread crust-mango thing...

12 oz can. Aroma is mango, chalky candy, wheat. Pours clear cantaloupe with a thick long-sustaining off-white pillowy head with great retention and curtains of lace. Taste is mango and wheat. Mouthfeel is thin and creamy. Not bad but bordering on pedestrian.

On tap at OBF. Pours a clear yellow color with a medium white head. A huge perfume sweet mango nose. The flavor is light, toast, sweet mango, more perfume. OK.
