Ever so slightly hazy copper and peach coloured body with a thinnish, fast-dying head only about a cenimtetre tall. Aroma of coriander seed, wheat, yeast, light lemons, oranges, rose petals, some tart citrus fruits and ending with a bitter malt and herbal kick near the end. Very light-bodied that shows the tart lemons and limes at first, then gives way immediately for salt, brine, some funk and then dryness, after a while. Aftertaste shows a mildish malt and body coming from this with tart citrus and a light dash of the brine and salt, but it's definitely noticeable, albeit accutely. Overall, a good enough beer and a nice one for the style, especially while drinking it fresh-ish, and good for the springtime and the warmer months. A pretty nice gose with the apricot notes throughout, and one to try, especially if you like the style and can find it! I sampled this twelve ounce can purchased from Grape Vine in Rock Mill, South Carolina on 21-August-2017 for US$2,76, a few hours after watching the Eclipse in Columbia, South Carolina, sampled at home in Washington on 03-March-2018.

In der Nase Champagner, Aprikose. Im Trunk angenehm sauer, spritzig, erfrischend. Mittig Cardboard, trocken, Aprikose, hefig, lecker.

Can sample at a tasting at troubles's place. Thanks Tom L. Cloudy yellow. Apricot, lacto, citrus, tart, juicy, salty, light to medium-bodied. Very nice and refreshing.

Small fizzy-creamy mediumlasting head, hazy. Aroma is slightly dry sour-ish mineraly, soda powder, fruit salt, grass, minerals, hay, fruit stones, sour apricot. Taste is slightly dry sour-ish, soda powder, citrus acid, fruit salt, hay, sorrel, unripe berries, fruit stones, minerals, sour apricot. Medium bitterness, dry sour-ish mouthfeel. Nice.

12oz can, consumed at Cock & Bowl in VA. Poured a hazy golden yellow with a medium sized white head that fizzed out pretty quickly, leaving a small head. Light apricot with a little bit of a sea breeze character to it. Light and crisp and a touch tart.

Can from Park Fever, Hither Green. Hazy gold pour with a white head. Lots of peach in the nose, apricot, sweet citrus action. Peach sherbet, apricot, sweet citrus feel. Smooth easy going brew.

Murky yellow colour, big cloudy white head and lace. Plasticky apricot aroma with light tart notes. Light-bodied. Tart apricot, oldtime lemonade fruityness, light saltyness. Easy summer drink with tart aftertaste.

Can, 4.5%. Hazy pale yellow with small white head. Aroma is malt, fruit, salt, lemon and apricot. Flavour is malt, fruit, apricot, lemon, little salt, medium sweet and citric.

Another 'trendy', fruited hipster Gose, this time by Evil Twin, who added apricot (I assume puree) to the mash; can at Kantien in Ghent. Thick and dense but relatively quickly thinning and eventually all but disappearing, eggshell-white head over an equally cloudy yellow blonde beer with vague khaki hue. Utterly refreshing, very 'bright and sunny', seductive aroma mixing all the expected elements together in an admittedly delicious way: lots of sweet apricot puree or even apricot jam, salted cucumber slices, lemon candy, hint banana milkshake (the combination of sweet fruit and the lactic element I guess), raw Sauerkraut, sourdough, fresh and crisp sorrel leaves, starfruit. Fresh, crisp and colourful in the mouth as well, lots of sweet apricot (even hinting at banana mush) in the onset but cleverly balanced with refreshing, explicit yet very tolerable lime juice-like sourness, evolving into unsugared yoghurt and fresh cucumber impressions later on, as it drags along the pure, almost 'rocky' but still gentle and well-fitting (for a Gose) saltiness at its sides; sharp and initially even rather numbing carbonation. Soapy wheaty basis with 'white' bready edges, dried by the overall sourness; saltiness lingers all the way through but strangely matches very well with not just the sourness (as is to be expected in a good Gose) but also that fruit puree sweetness. Crisp, minerally aspects enliven the whole beer throughout. Almost like a salty softdrink, a colourful, brisk and summery fruit Gose, with all the right amounts of saltiness, sweetness and sourness - it is not often one encounters such a perfect equilibrium of such outspoken flavours. In that sense among the best Goses I've had to date - reminds me of some of Omnipollo's adventurous creations in this ancient sour wheat beer style, which has, thanks to pioneers in Germany in the late 20th century and (subsequently) the global craft beer revolution, morphed into the beautiful thing it can be today.
