can, rated April 2017 - Gold pour. Aroma is hop led with citrus and pine notes. Flavor has assertive bitterness, good fruity character, caramel malt, and some resin. Medium bodied. Quite nice.

Not that bitter too sweet with tropical fruit notes. Not interesting to say the least

This was poured into a becher pint glass. The appearance was a glossy burnt orange to yellow color with a semi-foamy sticky lace.
The aroma has some lemon juicy sweetness. Semi-bitter to sweet grassy hops. Soft sweet malts.
The flavor yields to the sweet side through the malts and hops. Some low key bitterness slides in. Aftertaste is separated between the bitterness of the hops and the malts, somewhat entertaining moving into a lemony sweet sort of finish, weird, but acceptable.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to almost medium in body. Subtle nuanced bitter to sweet sliding bitter harshness flowing over the tongue.
Overall, pretty good AIPA that I could have again.

22 ounce bottle into tulip glass, bottled on 11/3/2015. Pours slightly hazy deep golden yellow color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense and fluffy off white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Light spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass. Aromas of big grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, peach, mango, lemon zest, orange peel, pine, light honey, bread, and floral/grassy eartiness. Damn nice aromas with great complexity and balance of bright/juicy citrus/tropical hops and moderate pale malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, peach, mango, lemon zest, orange peel, pine, light honey, bread, and floral/grassy earthiness. Moderate amount of pine/grassy bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, peach, mango, lemon/orange peel, pine, light honey, bread, and floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Damn nice complexity, robustness, and balance of bright/juicy citrus/tropical hops and moderate pale malt flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Light-moderate dryness from modest bitterness as well. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, fairly sticky, and lightly creamy/bready balanced mouthfeel that is great. Alcohol is very well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish. Overall this is an excellent fresh hop IPA style. All around great compelxity, robustness, and balanced of bright/juicy citrus/tropical hops and moderate pale malt flavors; and very smooth and easy to drink. A very enjoyable offering.

Draft at the Hilton hotel bar. If you drink this from a bottle, you really aren’t doing it justice. Get a draft sample. 12 oz snifter shows a clear amber color with fast vanishing head. Aroma is bright citrus upfront with huge pine notes after. Tropical fruit of pineapple and melon notes on the front moving into a long lingering pine and floral finish. Whole hop cone flavor. Dry resin texture on the tongue in a decent body. Overall a solid, well crafted brew.
