Pour is a cloudy blond with a huge white head. Aroma is hoppy, yeast phenols with and odd soapyness. Flavor is yeasty a minor hop and grainy. Not enough of the Belgain estery, spicy peppery thing going on but it was kinda headed in the right direction.

12oz bottle poured into a Christoffel thin tulip glass. Pretty fresh beer, just got to town. Pours is nice with vigorous carbonation visible in the golden beer that creates a medium thick head with very long retention. Generally speaking this is a banana ester rich beer, not as strong as Chimay but still strong. However, it is well attenuated, not sweet. Yeasty dough around with some herb and spice off the yeast as well. I like it b/c I am a fan of banana esters but I understand why this beer is scoring lower. In general, for this brewer its a very nice accomplishment. Usually Belgians come off too estery or too sweet but this isn’t. For the price of a six pack its a very good deal.

12 ounce bottle thanks to Jeremy. Pours a cloudy golden color with a large white head. A big grainy nose, some honey and banana. A light somewhat thin palate, banana, grains, lemons, some clove. OK. Nothing too exciting here.

12 oz bottle from a six pack bought at Super 1 in Rathdrum, ID. Pours hazy golden with a collapsing white head. Aroma is pretty bland for a saison. I smell grain, faint banana, faint pepper, faint lemon; almost as boring-smelling as an American golden/blonde ale. Taste is pretty hoppy bitter for your average saison...who are we kidding here? This doesn’t taste anything like any saison I’ve ever had. It tastes more like an American pale ale with faint--and when I say faint, I mean extremely faint--Belgian characteristics. Finishes with a light tang. Mouthfeel is foamy, texture watery, body medium to thin. Average pale ale; substandard saison.

Bottle from Bine & Vine. Pours hazy gold with a 3 finger foamy white head that did some ring lacing. Aroma might have a hint of earthiness - I think there’s banana ester. Med body. Flavor is a little earthy, and there’s some light spice and fruit ester - still thinking banana. Finishes mixed earthy and "Belgian". Definitely towards bitter. Pretty good.
