Pours clear gold into a snifter. No head. Sweet apple and honey aromas. Soft with warm honey upfront turning to apple pie in the warm, lasting finish. Nice.

12 oz can. Pours a bright gold with no head. Atomas of old apples, dry honey, a bit of cinnamon as s a good dose of sulphur. Flavors follow same without the sulphur but with bitter almost herbal honey. Not really for me, but interesting.

Great! Lightly tart apples/honey/orange/floral/vanilla/sugar/oak/spicy rye whisky. Semisweet/semicrisp carb. Mild warmth. Slight acid/tannin --- Beer aliased from original tick of How 'Bout Them Apples on 13 Aug 2017 at 15:15 - Score: 8. Original review text:

On tap at Chuck's on 85th, pours a clear pale blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out notes of honey and acidic red apples. Flavour is huge, with honey, red apples and intense acidity. Wonderful blend of mead and cider. Finishes acidity and boozy, but in the best of ways. Very good. --- Beer merged from original tick of Thirteen 5 on 05 Aug 2018 at 04:09 - Score: Appearance - 8 | Aroma - 7 | Flavor - 8 | Texture - 8 | Overall - 7.5. Original review text: Can sampled at Moonlight Meadery, pours a clear yellowish blonde with a tiny white head. Aroma brings out plenty of oak, with wild yeast and crisp apple skins. Flavour is both crisp and sweet, with light oak, some wild funkiness and medium sweet apples. The booze is certainly evidence, leaving its trace on the finish. Excellent.

Can from a Lazy Dog Slightly hazy light golden color with no head, not sure if this is supposed to be carbonated but this can was flat. Sweet syrupy apple with bit of brown sugar and a light woody oak. Pretty decent cider.

Very tiny bubbles, burnt orange color. No head. There’s a lot of baked apple here. and honestly that 13% ABV is so well hidden. I can’t believe it’s not mead! Very interesting. pear juice, some cherry hidden away and a lot of sweetness. almost cloying but impressively crafted.
