Appearance: Off white tightly packed, lingering head. Extravagant lacing. Moderate carbonation. Gorgeous chestnut brown color.

Aroma: Great balance between malt & hop aromas. Noticeably distinct classic American hop aromas of citrus and red berries. Malt aromas of sweet caramel & chocolate, alongside a whiff of toasted bread.

Flavour: Upfront citrus from the hops, especially lemon & orange, followed by a wave of chocolate before a satisfying wave of hop bitterness to finish. Very satisfying. Notes of toast & coffee almost reminds me of a tropical Ethiopian coffee – while the more dominant citrus meets chocolate character of the beer is reminiscent of a lemon & chocolate tart.

Mouthfeel: Well rounded, moderate carbonation, smooth & medium bodied. No harshness & a well-balanced bitterness. Super drinkable.

Appearance- very dark brown, murky, a foamy beige head of around two fingers which slowly diminishes. Aroma- chocolate and dark malts, chocolate milkshake, milky coffee, nutty hints, brown toast, trace of caramel. Taste- smooth, malty, nutty chocolate, dark bready malts, hint of vanilla caramel sweetness, earthy nuttiness, bitter finish with dark fruit undertones. Very tasty.

33cl can from Beer52.com. A strangely opaque dark chestnut pour with a billowing caramel coloured head; spicy hop aroma; dry resinous hoppy taste, with some caramel sweetness; and a dry resinous warming finish with some lingering drinking chocolate.
