Appearance: Off white tightly packed, lingering head. Extravagant lacing. Moderate carbonation. Gorgeous chestnut brown color.

Aroma: Great balance between malt & hop aromas. Noticeably distinct classic American hop aromas of citrus and red berries. Malt aromas of sweet caramel & chocolate, alongside a whiff of toasted bread.

Flavour: Upfront citrus from the hops, especially lemon & orange, followed by a wave of chocolate before a satisfying wave of hop bitterness to finish. Very satisfying. Notes of toast & coffee almost reminds me of a tropical Ethiopian coffee – while the more dominant citrus meets chocolate character of the beer is reminiscent of a lemon & chocolate tart.

Mouthfeel: Well rounded, moderate carbonation, smooth & medium bodied. No harshness & a well-balanced bitterness. Super drinkable.

Can (in fact I had two cans) at The Alice House, Queens Park, Thursday 24th March 2016 in the company of Lynn and Barry. Dark amber in colour, touch hazy. Really good assertive beer, lots of punchy resiny hops overlaying this brown ale. Fruity and with a bit of chocolate but solid bitterness builds. As I mentioned I had two, it’s a very nice beer. Can at Hectors. Appearance - deep amber to brown with a lovely head. Nose - spiced biscuits and light toffee. Taste - more of the same. Palate - close to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a long dry finish. Overall - a refreshing brown ale. I got up late today. This was breakfast.

Can, 5.3%. Gusher, from a can?! Good grassy hoppiness in the nose. Clear dark brown colour. Big stable light brown head. The flavour is malty with a distinct bitterness. A nice floral aroma hop in the flavour as well.

Malty, hoppy taste with crisp-bread, orange peel, dark fruit and a balanced citric bitterness. Medium body, with a touch of sweetness. Fresh and tasty. Nice one.
