(Draught at Stockholm Beer & Whisky Festival, 6 Sep 2024) Black colour with brief, beige head. Roasted, malty nose with vanilla, cacao, chocolate, coffee and sweet liquorice. Malty, roasted taste with notes of cacao, dark chocolate, liquorice, vanilla and a generous cacao bitterness in the finish. Full body, quite sweet. A bit unbalanced, with lots of vanilla, cacao and a touch too sweet. But, really rich and tasty. Nice one.

0.33l bottle, courtesy of Mr. HP, shared with Ogi and Hrabren. Very dark brown, almost pitch black, with a- brownish thick head. Fennel, sweet, malty aroma, citric, fun, different, rough, bitter, notes of stone fruit, quite okay in some ways, rough in many others. like, tea-like fun really.

Trevlig

Bottle. Dark black brown with a brown forthy head, fairly good lacings. Aroma is heavy vanilla, roasted coffee beans, slight anis and licorice. Taste is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter, lots of roasted malt, coffee, vanilla, licorice. Texture medium to heavily bodied but not as thick as other heavy beers, oily with small bubbles. Finishes dry and bitter , long duration with a coffee scent as well as slight licorice. Pretty different texture wise for this style, but very enjoyable.

Poured from 330mL bottle (bb Jan 2028). Dark brown with small beige head. Licorice, vanilla, not terrible, but still doesn't come together.
