A hop-driven favourite, with a malt profile to balance the high-alpha hop aroma and moderate bitterness. A rich ruby colour, indicating the complex partnership of four New Zealand and German malts which create a backbone of toffee, caramel and roasted flavours. Sought after American hops giving a citrus, grapefruit and lychee nose.

330ml can delivered from the Salmon, Leicester and drunk at home. Reddish brown and almost clear with a ring of beige head. Resinous malty aroma, light berry character, toast, grassy notes and pine. Sweet taste, despite the prevalence of piney hop this is very malt driven. Some gentle fruity bitterness on the long finish. Medium carbonation. A lovely rendition of a favourite style of mine.

Can at the Hop Beer Bar, Petaling Jaya, Malaysia. Poured a reddish copper colour with a mostly lasting frothy off white head. The aroma is malt, toffee caramel, red berry fruits, big woody hop. The flavour is moderate bitter, with a crisp, malt, fruity, light pepper spice, strong woody hop bitter palate and a lingering bitter finish. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

Tap at their taproom. Subtle biscuit aromas. Deep orange with finely beaded head. Slightly creamy mouthfeel. Good solid red with balance of malts and piney hops.
