Tap at SÆTA SVÍNIÐ in Reykjavík. Pours dark ruddy amber with a beige head. Med body. Nicely malty. Not very dry, but not sweet. Enough hop to detect. It’s nice.

Bottle from Vinbudin Heidrun, Reykjavik. Pours clear amber colour, topped with a foamy white head. Large and not so lasting. Gentle caramel maltiness, slightly biscuity nose. Medium sweet, caramel and midler biscuits. Mild bitterness. Medium aftertaste. Medium light body. Nicely enjoyable.

From Nate: pours light brown with a light beige head. Aroma is caramel and a sort of old school candy sweetness. Taste is standard amber lager... slightly metallic, caramel candy finish... perhaps a touch of fruitiness. Not a great beer but quite drinkable.

On keg at Islenski Barinn. Appearance - amber with a nice lacy head. Nose - light toffee and red fruit. Dry biscuit. Taste - more biscuit, a hint if redcurrant and a dry toffee thing. Palate - light to medium bodied. Dry and crunchy through middle and end. Overall - decent.

On tap at Saeta Svinid in Reykjavik. Amber color, white frothy head. Aroma is caramel, old shoe, a bit sulfuric. Taste is mildly bitter, buttery near the end. Not my thing.
