En fylligt rund och maltig porter med liten beska. Choklad, mörkt bröd och torkad frukt i smakbilden. Sötman är behagligt avrundad med mild brittisk och amerikansk humle. Pale ale-malt från Hörby Lantmän utgör basen i detta öl.

(Draught at Stockholm Beer & Whisky Festival, 9 Sep 2023) Dark brown colour, almost black, with foamy beige head. Malty, roasted nose with notes of coffee, black bread, liquorice and a touch of smoke. Malty, roasted taste with chocolate, liquorice, coffee, black bread, tobacco and a balanced roasty bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with a slight sweetness. Tasty and well balanced porter. Nice one.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a clear brown with an orange hue and a creamy and lacing beige head. Greasy, unclean and not so pleasant aroma. Medium body, som chocolate, licorice and downplayed roast, again with a somewhat greasy edge - although not as bad as in the aroma. Quite a hoppy finish. 171121

Bottle from Systembolaget beställningssortiment. Hazy dark brown with a medium head. Aroma of light roasted malt, fruit and some caramel. The same in the taste. An ok one.

Bottled, from Systembolaget. Cloudy dark brown, mid sized head. Fruity nose with strawberries and caramel. Sweet with medium body and clean mouthfeel. Mildly tart with caramel and strawberry jam. Mid bitter finish. Basic. At best.
