bottle, 2016 rating - Clear, light gold pour. Aroma of bready malt and a little fruit. The flavor is lightly sweet malt, mild hops bitterness, and a touch of fruit. Light bodied. Decent.

@ ORD. Slight haze. Thin head. Aroma is lightly fruity, palate as well. Gooseberries, red currants and other lighter fruits. Low bitterness, but it’s kind of drinkable anyway.

Pours clear, honey gold with a thin, off-white head. Sweet grain and honey aroma. Taste is sweet..light honey and lemon. Grain, mild grassy bitter....floral. Ok,.....does have a decent German feel to it.

Draft at the Berghoff bar. The pour produces a nice foamy head over a golden lager color, edging slightly toward a pale ale orange. The smell actually put me in mind of German noble hops, with some English in the background. That’s in the taste as well, although the hop seems to be knocked off its perch by a sweeter malt profile than I’d expect. After a little more, I decide the hops are the equal of the malt after all, but they don’t quite harmonize.

12oz bottle poured into a shaker. Pours a clear pale gold with minimal head. Aroma of corn and honey with some sweet pale malt. Taste is light bitter. Herbal hops with with a little sweet malt. Light bodied with a thin and very slightly sticky texture. Fizzy carbonation but a long finish. Overall, not bad. Quality has definitely improved since the move to point brewery.
