12oz bottle. Filtered copper-brown-amber body. Steady, foamy off-white head. Big toffee, caramel tones. Really has a big hazelnut flavor, this is a beer they should make sixpacks out of. Surprisingly impressive. Medium bodied, drinkable. Bold flavors, balanced sweetness.

Clear, red-copper with a creamy tan head. Caramel, cola aroma....sweetly nutty. Hazelnut/toffee flavor....malty.... Increasing nuttiness as it warms.... A real pleasure.

Moderately strong aroma of soil, clay, and nuts, more pecan than hazelnut. Clear brown, medium tan head. Nutty flavor, astringent. Nice earthy nuttiness but falls flat otherwise.

12oz bottle poured into a shaker. Pours a dark nut brown with about a half finger of white head. Aroma is mostly sweet malt. Hazelnut coffee creamer, caramel, toffee and some light coffee and cream. Taste is light bitter. Coffee, cream, hazelnut and light herbal hops. Medium bodied with a slightly thin texture. Slightly fizzy carbonation and a decently long finish. Overall, pretty good. I could easily drink this one again.

Pours clear dark brown under a tall, quickly falling, off-white head. Aroma of sweet malt and some phenols. The flavor is washed out; lightly sweet with a bit of dryness in the finish. Barely passable.

Poured from a 12 oz bottle at home. Pours a dark reddish brown with a tan head. Toffee aroma. Hazelnut flavor is noticeable but nicely balanced with caramel malts. Quite tasty.

12 oz bottle from the fall variety pack. Pours deep brown but looks red in the light; has a medium collapsing beige head. Aroma is caramelly, toffee-ish, nutty. Taste is sweet, roasty, nutty. Nice beer, although the rauchbier from last fall’s variety pack was much more interesting. That one needs a comeback!

12 oz. bottle from Fall 12 pack. Used a Sam Adams perfect pint glass. Typical medium brown color with real thin head. Normal amount of carbonation. Light hazel nut and light chocolate. Taste is above average with lingering hints of Hazelnut coffee, vanilla and toffee. Not overly sweet and balanced nicely. Body is on the lighter side of medium. Nicely done and I wanted another so... it drinks pretty well for me.

Bottle from variety pack while pre gaming in Foxboro. Pours brown with plenty of hazelnut on nose. Tastes mostly of hazelnut which I’m overly sensitive to I think. It’s semi sweet and u also getbcaramel, malt, earth, and vanilla but mosty hazelnut, not my cup of tea
