Pours cola, red highlights. With a huge, foamy tan head. Sweet, smoky, vinous aroma. Yeasty, tart, dark fruit taste. Caramel, sugar, banana.... Busy.

12oz bottle pours a opaque deep brown with some creamy, off white head. Nose is drenched in pitted fruit, plum, prune, raisin, dark bread, rum, candy sugar, a little malt vinegar, some dried cherry. Flavor is interesting, bread crust, light smoke, earthy, dirty parsnip, flat cola, a little wheat chaff, some dried cherry, prune. Watery finish.

Refrigerated 12 oz. brown bottle poured into a weizen glass. Pours dark brown with off-white head which dissapates quickly. Little lacing, medium/low carbonation, and light sweet banana aroma. Taste is some banana, light roasted malt, and a hint of milk chocolate. Pretty easy to drink, but needs more flavor.

12 ounce bottle. Pours a dark reddish brown color with a medium white head. A sweet nose of toffee and caramel. Very light flavors of caramel, earthy, banana, some coffee perhaps? Pretty sweet. Thin. OK.

Bottle from b3shine: Aroma is raisins, babyfood, and a bit of barnyard. Cloudy brown, thin tan head. Vegetal and astringent, wood and soot discernible, black currants. Not wonderful.

Sample during the Armageddon tasting at Ale Wine & Spirits in Powell on 12/20/2012. The beer is a dark brownish-red color with a medium thin off-white head that dissipates steadily. Spotty lacing on the glass. Aroma of yeast and roasted malt. Light-bodied with flavors of biscuit malt, fruity yeast and a bit of spice. The finish is sweet with a berry and banana aftertaste. Decent overall.

Very dark with a light brown head. Aroma is medium roasted malts, cocoa, malty, and an odd chemical aroma. My initial thought was that it smelled like roasted malt and photography developing chemicals. So weird. Medium to full body. Flavor thankfully lacks the chemicals from the aroma. Roasted malts, wheat, faint dark fruits, berries. A bit tangy. Very odd from start to finish but glad I gave it a try.
