Gyle No. 427. In March 2016 we devoted a third of our cellar capacity to a single beer, DIPA v3. We are excited to brew it again as faithfully as we can to the original recipe. Hot side additions see the return of whole cone, new season Chinook and Citra hops, followed by an 8 g/L cold side dry hop, featuring Centennial, Citra, Mosaic, and Comet. It was fermented with WLP095 instead of the original Vermont ale yeast. 8.5% ABV

Mail order can from the brewery. Hazy resin and pine aroma. Opaque warm amber. Creamy white head. Light bitter. Super juicy citrusness. Some booze comes through but overall hides the ABV well. Medium bodied. Slick. Average carbonation. Long finish with a dry edge. Extremely quaffable.

Burk strömmensberg. Färgen guldaktig ja ljus nästan full grummel. Doftar satans gott av i helvetes massa 🍍🍍🍍🍍. I munnen äpple, päron sen massa annanas och passionsfrukten. Medelhårt till hårt kolsyrad och medelbeska. Mycket välgjord dipa i modern stil. Lååååång eftersmak. Här har de flesta och nästan alla svenska bryggerier att lära. Jättegod som vanligt från bryggeriet. Faaaan va de kan Cloudwater. Varför inte högre betyg då? Jo lite mycket bubblor och behövs ännu krämigare smaker i munnen. Denna dipa om den hade dessa egenskaper kunde fått topp betyg. Typ 4,7 eller 4,8 eller ännu mer. Hur många topp öl har du ratat på ratebeer? Om du druckit några hundra bör du ju även betygsatt några 4,8 plus ju. Annars nåt fel.

Draught, sample. Tasted on the 11/05/2018 at "Mikkeller Beer Celebration 2018", Copenhagen. Clear golden colour with a medium off-white head good lacing. Aroma is sweet malts, caramel, orange, papaya and grassy hops. Taste is very well balanced with the sweet malts and the citrus leading to a medium hoppy and fresh finish. Medium dry and bitter. Next one please!

Can from Cloudwater online. Surprisingly clear orange golden colour with a white head. Aroma is citrus orange tropical. Taste light sweet to pithy bitter. full rich and smooth body that makes it drink well below the 8.5% abv.

Can. Slightly hazy deep golden. Modest piney hop aroma. Smooth deep citrusy hop bitterness and lift toasted malts and a little brown palate bag grassiness. Smooth lingering ABV burn. Big and balanced with aim residuals mellowing it all out. Nice.
