Warm Summer evenings, cold crisp beers and some not so gentle banter about the cricket. What’s not to love about Australia? Our strong connection to Two Birds and their skills in the brewhouse got us really excited about this beer. We’ve gone for all Aussie hops, with Galaxy, Vic Secret, Ella and Australian Cascade creating a clean, refreshing Pale Ale. We were going to call this one sandpaper, but we thought it might be too soon.

Keg at the brewery tap. A mostly clear golden coloured pour with a uniform white frothy head. Aroma is si sweet, milky cream, light apricot. Flavour is composed of spicy citrus, petrol, semi sweet, moderate carbonation, spicy citrus, gras. Palate is rounded, semi sweet, moderate carbonation, light resin. Ok.

Keg at the Fourpure taproom. Pours clear gold, effervescent, with a very tight, creamy off-white head. Nicely balanced, some biscuits, light pine, tangerine. Light bodied with fine, massaging carbonation. Balanced finish, more pale bread, tangerine, low bitterness. Maybe a little simple but also really drinkable.
