ABV: 11.5%. Clear medium to light amber colour with a small to average, frothy - fizzy and open, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, sweet malt, dried fruit, oak, wood, rich, malty, caramel, alcohol. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet with a average duration, oak, woody, dried fruit, rich, malty, barrel - vanilla, caramel, sweet malt - candy. Body is medium to medium full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is warming and alcoholic. [20201003]

Bottle @ Højbjerg tasting. Nice head with good duration. Color is amber. Aroma and taste are caramel, wood, wine, fruits, malt and hops. Sweet caramel vinous finish.

Bottle @ Saxo tasting. Clear orange with a white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel and heavy wood. Flavor is very sweet and moderate bitter. Dry and moderate bitter finish with heavy alcohol. 031020

Bottle @Saxo's. Clear amber, white head. Malty, woody aroma, some berries, light vinous notes. Sweetish flavour, malt, wood, fruity with good alc warmth. Nice, quite elegant.

Tap, Pivomanija. Slightly hazy glowing coppery, smaller offwhite head. Very noticeable and pleasant vanilla, bourbon, honey and woody notes. Gently sweet, vanilla and bourbon, lots of wood. Sweet honey feel and hint of bitterness. Quite warming, but not too much. Very fine sipper. Loved it.
