With its attractive golden hue, plentiful foam & creamy texture this clings to the inside of the glass. The first thing that you will note will be the taste of the lemon, but this is never an overpowering flavour. This will then be followed by the note of malt and acacia honey, contrasting to the apple and tropical fruit notes. This awakens your palate far more than first impressions indicate - with the fruit notes hitting the front and middle of your tongue and the citric notes, while never bitter hit the back. The taste that you are left with is harmonious - a natural occurrence in a beer so well balanced. And as this characteristic of such a particular citrus fruit is counterbalanced beautiful by the aromatic hops.

Bottiglia.

750 mL bottle, from Ahum Pizzeria. Pours a cloudy, peach color, with a small, fleeting, off-white head. The nose is orange peel, cardamom, pineapple, dry grass, and light mint. Sweet and juicy, with a mild bitterness. Light to medium body ,with a crisp, pulpy mouthfeel. This is a simple, easy saison.

Thank you for sharing tderoeck & Rubin77. Sampled bottled @ LIBF 2017. Orange, golden, creamy white. Nose is way too yeast, soap, sugar, dirty, grape is lost. Wattery, weak. Soap, weak, too watery, spoiled yeast,… Just poor, weak, soap, bit dirty, not a fan.

Light gushing to good, light yellowish head over fully hazy orange beer, apparently well-carbonated. Very fresh, outspokenly citrussy nose, with fresh hops and pale malts in evidence. Citrus, also lemonbalm remaining the dominating aroma. Spicy, even peppery flavour, much less citrussy than the nose suggested. Again pale malts; bitterish (root)spices. Citrus returns to some extent in the aftertaste. Feels even more carbonated than the looks suggested. Despite a lightly burning mouthfeel, refreshing and very easily drinkable. More saison than many’s the "saison" the craftbeermarket wants us to swallow - including Belgian ones. Add a tad of ironoxide, and Syrentum might even pass as an historical Saison. Mille grazie, amici!
