Hel & Verdoemenis is bursting with flavors. Bitter, roasted, chocolate, coffee. All times 2. It's this why it's our Flag Ship and best selling Imperial Stout. For this edition we added hazelnut to add even an extra dimension. Flavour indication: chocolate, coffee Translates as Hell & Damnation Hazelnut

Bottled 330ml (Beerdome, bottled 07/2018)
Dark brown colour, small steady beige head and some lace. Toasted aroma has strong hazelnut and some vanilla. Medium to full-bodied. Flavour is similar, roasted malts, cocoa and then dominating hazelnut. Hides ABV nicely and palate is smooth. You need to love hazelnut to like this one although it is well-brewed beer. I like nuts but perhaps here it is a bit too dominant.

330mL bottle, pours black with a medium brown head. Nose brings out fresh toasted hazelnuts upfront, with a medium roasted malt backbone. Flavour is along the same lines, with medium roasted malt and loads of toasted hazelnuts. Wonderful hazelnut character here. Excellent.

Keg at Beaverex '18 Day II, 08/09/18. Black with a solid tan covering. Nose is big on hazelnut, chocolate, toffee, roast malts, light charr. Taste comprises Cadburys Whole Nut, bitter sweet bite, dried fruits, Ferrero Rocher, toasted nuts. Medium plus bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a warming kiss of alcohol. Decent impy if lacking some wow.

On keg at the Hanging Bat. Appearance - opaque black with a lovely fawn head. Nose - intense hazelnuts. Chocolate of course. Taste - the same again really. Booze there but not to overt. Palate - medium to full bodied and creamy. Long and fairly elegant finish. Overall - good stuff.
