Hel & Verdoemenis is bursting with flavors. Bitter, roasted, chocolate, coffee. All times 2. It's this why it's our Flag Ship and best selling Imperial Stout. For this edition we added hazelnut to add even an extra dimension. Flavour indication: chocolate, coffee Translates as Hell & Damnation Hazelnut

22/IX/18 - on tap @ De Molen café, Borefts Bierfestival Day 2, BB: n/a - (2018-1481) Thanks to the international Ratebeer crew for sharing today's beers!

Clear dark brown to black beer, creamy beige head, stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: lots of hazelnut, chocolate, all right, I'll just say it, it's just like Nutella! MF: ok carbon, medium to full body. Taste: lots and lots of hazelnuts, pretty damn good actually, lots of chocolate, sweetish, bit roasted, cocoa powder. Aftertaste: soft bitterness, roasted, lots of hazelnut still, some dark chocolate.

Black, tan head. Aroma of chocolate, roast, coffee, hazelnut. Bitter roasted, sweet malty flavour. Finish chocolate, cocoa, hazelnut. Less artificial then I was expecting.

Tap. Dark brown color with beige head. Aroma is hazelnuts, chocolate. Taste is hazelnuts, black chocolate, liquorice, coffee. Oily mouthfeel with medium carbonation. Very good, but I'm a bit of a sucker for Hazelnuts.

On tap at Beavertown Extravaganza 2018. Black beer lasting tan head. Hazelnut aroma no doubt. Very hazelnut in the flavour. Smooth dark chocolate. Lots of hazelnut. Not much of the Base beer. But good.

Bottle shared at a tasting at Lior D's place. Thanks David K. for this bottle! Black, tan head. Lots of hazelnuts, chocolate, cocoa, Loacker, caramel, sweet, bitterish touch, full-bodied. Great.

Bottle from 100 piv. Full body, moderate carbonation. Lots of sweetness, partially balanced by light alcohol warmth, not entirely though. Remains leaning on the sweet side assertively. May be partly due to the hazelnut inside, which is moderate in intensity. Lots of dark maltiness, mostly chocolatey. Works well if you do not mind the sweetness. Really tasty and also dangerous - relatively easy drinking considering the ABV. Very good.
