Jack Ratt with Botanicals. Crisp apple flavours intermingle with the traditional gin notes of juniper, angelica, and coriander for a wonderfully complex cider with overtones of orange and black pepper.

330ml bottle. Golden colour, foamy white head that quickly dissipates away and aroma of herbs, gin. Taste is sweetish, tangy apple with herbal & spiced notes, cinnamon, juniper, gin, tonic, citric, drying. Light bodied, spritzy carbonation, very dry finish. OK

330ml bottle from Appleyards, Shrewsbury. Pours clear pale golden yellow. Aroma is light floral, juniper, green apple, distant pot pourri. Taste is generally clean, medium sweet with a fairly low botanical presence compared to the aroma, some lemonade. A touch sticky sweet on the finish, but not as sweet as the cherry.
