Bottle, 330 ml from Honest Brew, Shared with JFK10000 and Max. Almost clear dark golden, white head. Some floaters. Armagnac, malty, caramel, some alcohol coming through. Lacks body to support the barrel.

330ml bottle (10%). Pours a hazed reddish amber, minimal white topping that recedes. A tickle of Armagnac on the nose, shadowed by a little orange peel. Taste sees the armagnac shine with a modest triple sweetness in the rear. Fairly strong alcohol, coming across as a medium sweet barley wine than a triple per se. Still, nice warmer on this long summer evening.

Owl Farm, Brooklyn tap: pours clear gold with a white head. Aroma is amarngac and a bague fruitiness plus yeast. Taste is liquor, sweet, dry, winy. Subtle and interesting. Large size does not overwhelm.

Hazy amber beer, small cream colour head. Smooth palate, fairly dry, reasonable fine carbonation. Soft dry malts, light dry creamy sweetness. Mild dried fruits. Decent amount of light and smooth Armanagac. Good ripe fruits and mild spice. Light and semi dry finish. A simplistic tripel that acts as a good delivery mechanism for the very nice Armanagac barrel aging. Seems to be quality Armanagac. Nice.

Sample at Brew Wild Pizza Bar. Golden color, white head that quickly dimishes. Aroma has notes of marzipan and alcohol. Flavor is slightly sweet, phenolic taste, light spicy notes. In the final is not noticed a good feeling due to the high level al alcohol.
